I'm here visiting a friend for a few days and he wanted to try a new place that he had heard good things about. So we went and instantly upon walking in the door we both got an uncomfortable vibe. The lady at the front we guess was the owners wife was not a pleasant person to be around. We walked in and the only thing that was said to us was anywhere is fine so we pick a booth and we sat down she didn't say much she stood there kind awkward until I had told her my drink she didn't even ask. She went to get our drinks and came sat them on our table and walked away. A few minutes later the owner came to take our order and my friend had a question about what toppings they had he didn't say anything he very rudely took his pen and tapped on the menu and rolled his eyes at us. We got our food and the food itself was okay we were checked on one other time after our food had arrived and that was when they took our plates we went to go pay our check and I didn't tip the service that we received was very poor and not worthy of a tip. After my friend had paid the lady asked him how everything was and we said the food was good we smiled and thanked them as we walked out and she shouted "Thanks for the tip." In a very sarcastic and rude tone. This is the first and last time I will visit this establishment. Because of the horrible service we received. This was on 5/17/19 at 1:30ish pm.

Edit: Actually when I sat down you said nothing at all to me or to him. I was very polite when speaking towards the two people that came and took care of my table. Incase you didn’t know filling someone’s drinks and removing empty dishes is part of the responsibility of a waitress or waiter. I have be a waitress in my life and I know how to tip. A tip is how you make your income but in doing so you have to be a personable person and you ma’am were not. Nor was your husband. You were both very rude people towards your PAYING customers. A tip is not required it is favor for hard and out standing work. What we received was poor service. This shows that you have no customer service experience at all. Came here last night to celebrate my birthday with my family. I arrived a couple minutes late after my family arrived. I called my mom and asked her if she could tell the waitress ( lady with short black hair ) if she could have a number of seat ready for us to come in to sit. The waitress never came around I had to have part of my family standing up until I had to mention to her if we could get two more chairs. So I let it go I was ok maybe she’s just busy. Well I kid you not maybe 15-20 min she takes our drink order then comes back to gives us our drinks. She states “did ya call to make a reservation” I told her “no” we had a group of 16. I apologized and said we didn’t know this many people were going to attend. She leaves and comes back and hands us menus which we didn’t even have enough for everyone to have one so we all had to share. She leaves again and doesn’t come back. Here husband I believe the owner comes back after almost 40 min of waiting to tell us that we need to call before for a bigger crowd of 15 people. I told him we had already been waiting an hour if he didn’t want give his service he should have stated that when we arrived instead of making us wait for almost an hour.

They were very rude. I nor my family will not be coming back. As far as the star rating it’s no star at all.

Went for lunch. Large variety of Italian entrees, with salad and bread, for $6.99.

Update: I went today, March 9th 2024, because I wanted some fettuccine alfredo. When I walked in, there was a big sign in the front saying that they can only do takeout orders. Someone, who I now assume is the owner, came up to the front. I asked him does this mean that I cannot sit down and eat? He said yes that's what it means. Then he went on and on about how he can't get any help for waiting tables and had to go to all takeout. Then I asked him what was probably a dumb question. I asked does that mean the prices are the same since he's not paying wait staff anymore. He went ballistic. He said he most certainly would not reduce prices. And he kept going on about how nobody would work waiting tables. I just decided to leave so I turned around and walked out. I said something as I walked out, and I don't even remember what it was, but he followed me out to the car. I've seen some other reviews here that talk about the owner and I can tell you firsthand he's nuts. The sad thing is that I had eaten at this restaurant many times before and they have excellent fettuccine alfredo. I have also seen that he has commented on the bad reviews he's gotten.
