Blaze Pizza is an absolute game-changer for athletes like me! After an intense workout at the nearby gym, I was craving a meal that would not only refuel my energy but also satisfy my taste buds. Blaze Pizza delivered on all fronts. First off, the speed of service was impressive. I walked in, chose my toppings, and watched as they crafted my pizza right before my eyes. The efficiency was perfect for my post-workout hunger. Now, let's talk about the quality of the food. The dough was light and crispy, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. It was like a celebration of flavors in every bite. Plus, the variety of toppings and sauces allowed me to create a customized pizza that catered to my nutritional needs. But what really stood out was the option for a cauliflower crust. As an athlete, I appreciate healthier choices, and this crust was a guilt-free delight. It had a great texture and tasted surprisingly good. Blaze Pizza understands that athletes value both taste and nutrition. And the best part? The affordability. After a rigorous workout, I didn't want to break the bank on a meal, and Blaze Pizza offered quality at a reasonable price. That's a win-win! In conclusion, Blaze Pizza is a slam dunk for athletes like me. It's the perfect post-workout meal that combines speed, quality, customization, and affordability. If you're looking to refuel and indulge your taste buds after a workout, Blaze Pizza is the place to go. It's a gold medal in the world of pizza!

This was my first time at Blaze pizza in Culver City, but my parents suggested it because they love their Blaze in Palm Springs; unfortunately, we were all disappointed. I think most people order takeout from this Culver City location, so the space itself was small, cluttered, and unattended, with unusually harsh, cold-toned lighting — not a homey environment. Staff were curt with customers, rushed and bumping into one another, yelling out instructions, and the ordering system itself seemed mismanaged and chaotic. My gluten-free pizza was forgotten about and left in too long. When it came out, it had burnt edges all around and the cheese was dry, but the employee just cut off the burnt pieces and gave the pizza to me. When I mentioned that it looked overdone, she didn’t offer to make me another. I took a bite, which was unsurprisingly dry and rubbery. I was just going to leave it uneaten, but my tenacious mother approached the counter to ask for my money back. The manager half-heartedly apologised and refunded me, but I am not interested to go back there again. I have a feeling my family will still persuade to try Blaze Pizza in Palm Springs, but I’m sure it will be better!

This was...chaos. I came in & ordered around 6:40pm, I didn't leave until about 7:20pm. There were a good amount of customers but not more than you'd see in a Chipotle at lunch. There was a lot of confusion on the orders. A few/several of the names were wrong (incorrectly heard/written down) which caused confusion/delay in the pick up process. There was also no apparent order to how the pizzas were going in. I came in at 6:40 and watched as other people who ordered got their pizzas before me. I wasn't the only one. I was standing behind a guy who had been there for over 45 minutes. He continually asked about his order and they kept telling him it was almost done. Come to find out, it was never done. I'm surprised the dude kept his cool. My pizza eventually came out and I watched as it sat on the counter for about 10 mins before they boxed it up. It was lukewarm by the time I got to my car and modestly warm by the time I got home. The pizza itself was pretty good but I don't know that I'd want to deal with the headache of waiting in that line again.

Ordering online for pickup? Well, don't believe what the order confirmation tells you, your order will be ready in closer to 60 min than 20 min...and that's if you're lucky and they succeed in not "losing" it.

My pickup experience at this location has gotten progressively worse over the last couple years, Blaze doesn't listen to feedback provided through the standard channels, so I'm just at the point now that I'd only go here to order in-restaurant, and even then I'm not sure it's worth the circus.

I've never picked up an online order here where my pizzas were ready in anywhere close the same time, so one pizza is always cold by the time I get home. The pickup window in the order confirmation has never been remotely accurate anyway: last night it said 14 min, I didn't get pizza 1 of 2 until about an hour after ordering. And they "lost" pizza 2 of 2 and ended up having to refire it (which was another 30+ min?! more like "slow-fired"). And this is not an isolated problem, there were at least a half-dozen other customers having similar high latency in their online order fulfillment, a few with postmates pickups (feel bad for them having to deal with their customers), all having to hang around there for over an hour. (We did get a chuckle out of shared situation; I guess misery loves company, so, there's that.) Your online order probably isn't even going to get started until you arrive at the restaurant. But even for the in-restaurant orders, it's still a cluster; again, see above about refiring one of the pizzas in my order.

The pizza construction and firing pipeline is just not efficient and shows an acute lack of resource allocation awareness on the part of management. I mean, it's not rocket science, you're only going to have throughput as fast as the slowest stage, which is always always always the final one: matching the number on the pizza with the number on one of the dozen or so ordering sheets, plus checking for online order matches, then pulling the 2 together, cutting, calling out names, boxing (maybe? depends if customer wants "to go" or "for here"), verifying the order's right, grabbing more boxes, etc. It boggles my mind that management has one employee doing all that when the employee time spent per pizza upstream is easily half as much. Trust me, I sat there 2 hours watching this and it was just painful.

It's sad, too, 'cause the pizzas are pretty good. Just know you'll likely end up paying time, patience, and sanity in addition to $$$...

Good food, but rude owner. Adding to my previous review. Haven't been here in quite a while and went with my family last Friday. Very different vibe. Seems like the owner (older, white hair guy and lots of tattoos) was actually working there now, which is normally a good thing. Except...this owner was pretty rude to my family and most people in line. Worst instance was a very elderly gentleman in line who obviously was not familiar with the process was trying to order and the owner was loud and rudely telling him to get back to the proper place to order. Another person in line picked up on this and assisted the older gentleman. Owner was very abrupt with everyone and seemed stressed out. I think his wife might have been working the pizza oven and she was a bit more friendly, but definitely was not genuine. Food was still good, but I will give second thoughts to coming back here or recommend to other families. This was a good friendly family spot, but now is tense and unfriendly. CC is a very friendly and family oriented neighborhood. This place does not fit in anymore. I have changed my original post from 5 stars to 2 stars. No matter how good the food is, customer service is most important, otherwise you will lose loyal customers...like me. There are many better pizza places in Culver City...
