I have been such a fan of this Starbucks for years - to the point that I always recommend and praise it to others. Had a disappointing encounter today. I was given a gift receipt by staff a couple of days ago (for a late or messed up order which was really very kind of them).
I tried to use it today (feb 17 2025 ~11am) and was treated like I was trying to scam them out of $4 because that staff member forgot to give me the accompanying gift card. I stood in line for 10 minutes having to prove my order, recite the exact details of that day, the order, what happened why it was messed up how it was allegedly fixed etc, along with accusations that I must have dropped the gift card (i did not receive a card, i in fact remember it being funny that in 2025 they would still hand out paper gift receipts).
They went so far as demonstrating the fact that the receipt was folded proved that a gift card was given with it so that I had to have been the one who lost it - when I was the one who folded the receipt myself to get it to fit into a small compartment of my purse. As I am writing this I can't believe I even had to defend myself like this lol.
It's $4 - it's not that serious. They were acting like it was $4000. I would've rather paid than to have to publicly go through hoops for a $3.75 coffee (at one point I tried to leave). After enjoying this place as a patron for years, I will no longer be going to...

The way I was spoken to was so unnecessary after I'd asked politely for toilet paper and waited for 5 min for you to rudley say did you purchase something. Read moreFrom a location standpoint this is pretty good. On a corner in a small strip mall with loads of parking. They have bathrooms. And are one of the only Starbucks I've been to that still have outlets (notes bc there were many people camping out there and charging ALL their devices). They have a few tables outside but it could be a lot nicer... But it was the staff that got me.
