Small restaurant but they have good dishes. My Dad had tried many Chinese restaurant, but this is one of the best. We had large party ( 11 adult, plus 2 kids) so it was hard for the restaurant to fit us in ( but they did...reservation recommended) Our party ate fast so I did not get chance to savor each dish ( I am slow eater). Overall they give alot of protein (lots of meat) in most of the dishes. They have this one dish ( I think it is pork belly with broccoli) which gives alot of pork. Also the dried bean curd with pork gives lots of juicy pork pieces. We also ordered Fish with Tofu which has amazing sauce. The silky tofu is covered with good quality fish and chef really knows how to make this good. Also, my bf likes sweet sour pork. I normally dont eat sweet sour pork but they make it very good. The pork is light and crispy, you have to try it. It was the best fried sweet and sour pork so light and crispy ( this chef is really good). The kung pao chicken was also juicy. I dont remember exactly the flavour because our party ate so quickly I only got a few pieces. My Dad also ordered spinach which tasted very good. I normally dont eat much spinach but this dish was so good I wish I got more. Food was so good our party devoured it. The soup was...

Here it is perfectly cooked, just to the point beyond translucence, flaking beautifully, not overcooked at all. My only gripes are it's on the salty side, and slightly sweet.
Their steamed fish is on point in every dish I've tried here. The 3 treasures with rice cakes (though it's not the chewy sliced rice cake I think of when I think of Chinese rice cakes) is my other favorite. It's fish, shrimp, squid, wood ear mushroom, baby bok choy, bamboo shoots, carrots, and a little garlic and green onion in a thick broth poured over crispy rice until it sizzles.
Xlb and potstickers are not the best but edible, and better if dipped in black vinegar. Green onion pancakes are a little harder fried than I prefer but also edible.
Worth it to come just for either fish dish, plus rice to soak up the sauce.

Read moreI was here for lunch as they are usually closed on Wednesdays. The service is great and the good portions are big. I ordered the chicken and my friend ordered the shrimp. It tasted great and then for dessert we ordered the sweet potato dipped in sugary syrup which you have to dip in cold water before you eat as it's very hot due to the sugary syrup. This is something very special for children in China who enjoy these as a dessert. It reminded me of giving healthy food wrapped up in cheese so that kids eat healthy 😊. For me the soup portion looked too big so it is advisable to go when you're hungry and can eat that big bowl. They do have a lot of options on their menu such as dim sum and dumplings as well. I will say give it a try and you will love to visit here. Make sure it's not on a Wednesday as they are closed...
