New place that replaced the teaspoon here (which had replaced the what8ver and tapioca express years ago). To be honest I was kind of sad when teaspoon opened here because even though I didn't hate their drinks, they didn't offer food options unlike its predecessors. So I'm happy to see that Mr green bubble offers pretty decent food and a pretty wide selection of what you'd expect to find at a taiwanese place.
For my drink I got the mango milk tea with mango jelly which was pretty standard. Nothing crazy that blew me away but not bad. Next time I'll probably try some of their more unique drinks.
For food I got popcorn chicken and taiwanese tempura. I like that they have the option to add extra basil because I always feel these places add too little. Both the chicken and tempura were pretty tasty. I'll definitely come back given how close and convenient...
Read moreBack in the day I used to love green tea flavored boba (I mean tapioca pearls that were green colored and green tea flavored, not necessarily that the boba were in green tea, though I loved that too, and of course green milk tea with green tea boba was also a favorite - I also don't mean it was green tea popping boba). Not that I don't love green tea flavored boba anymore. It's that it's disappeared off god's green earth for some reason. I got all excited by the name of this place having "green bubble" in it but am let down by the continued lack of green tea boba in the world. They don't even have green popping boba here. So their name is completely misleading.
