If you're looking for a fantastic to-go restaurant with delicious food and drinks, this hidden gem is a must-visit! I love to grab food from here about once a week on average because it never gets old.
One of the things that make this place special is that they always have interesting specials on the menu. Whether you're in the mood for something sweet, savory, or spicy, you're sure to find something that tickles your taste buds. From their signature lattes to creative breakfast sandwiches, everything is always delicious.
Despite being a to-go only restaurant, the staff is always super friendly and welcoming. They'll make sure that your order is prepared perfectly and ready for you to pick up in no time.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and inviting, even though it's to-go only. The decor is rustic and in taste with the Black Hills, with stylish accents that really do mimic a local mine from the 1800s. It's a great place to grab food on the go!
One thing to keep in mind is that this place can get pretty busy, especially during peak hours. If you're in a rush, I recommend ordering online ahead of time to avoid the wait. That being said, the wait is always worth it - the food and drinks are that good!
Overall, this to-go restaurant is a must-visit if you're in the area. The specials are always interesting, the staff are always friendly, and the atmosphere is always inviting. I highly recommend giving this place a try - you won't be...
Read moreDuring 3 days in Custer, I ended up here twice. The first day I was there for lunch. I had the Motherload wrap, which was delicious, as expected. I had a huckleberry Italian cream soda, which was amazing. Anything huckleberry = amazing. My aunt had the Rattlesnake Bite, which looked really good. I had a little bit of wrap envy. I was there for breakfast the second time, which made me very happy. The first time I had seen there was a wrap called the Double Barrel Shotgun, that contained biscuits and gravy. That's my go-to breakfast item, and I like to try it anywhere I might happen to turn up for breakfast. It did not disappoint. I thought the idea of it might be a little carb heavy, but they didn't put that much biscuit inside the tortilla, so it was perfect. I had an iced caramel macchiato with my wrap, and that was also wonderful. I don't even think they have dine-in there, and that's okay. We got our food and drove out to Custer State Park, sat by the lake, and ate our lunch. We got our breakfast and drove to a park to eat it. If you're at The Miner's Cup, particularly in the summer, just accept that there's no seating and go find a prettier place to sit,...
Read moreas a past local, i’ve seen so many different coffee shops in custer. this is by far the best coffee shop custer has ever had - the sandwiches are some of the best i’ve ever had, the coffee is brewed perfectly, and their espresso tastes so fresh! the staff obviously knows what they’re doing and they’re incredibly friendly. i refuse to get coffee anywhere else in custer, and always look forward to making trips to miners cup when i’m visiting from college! their menu has something for just about everyone, and the ambience of the drive thru gives you the cutest old timey western feel. if you’re a tourist and wondering where you should get coffee/a bite to eat, GO TO MINERS CUP. this is the only drive thru coffee shop i would willingly wait in a long line for! honestly, i could wait 3 hours and not even be bothered - thats how good this place is!
(also, reviews stating that the line would be long sometimes/service was slow: i believe a lot of their food is made to order, meaning it’s not just sitting half thawed on the counter! good things...
