This location for Chinese food is TERRIBLE. While waiting for an order I placed. I noticed the an Oriental lady walk in and took her place at the register (where there was a big tray of string beans being cut) The lady obviously had a cough (no mask). She went back to cutting the tips off the string beans ... No gloves .. no hair net .. did not even go in bathroom to wash her hands) Kind of figured she was the owner because she was the only oriental there and a short Hispanic girl walked up to her and appeared to be complaining about one of the other workers. I noted nobody had hair nets. While I continued to wait I kept thinking about food preparation in this place by the cash register ... Where someone would handle cash money transactions. Wondering whether I would even come back to purchase food again, my order finally arrived. Since I had purchased a bucket of shrimp fried rice and they had bagged it ... And stapled the bag shut three times, I opened the bag to inspect my order and noticed that this place doesn't even fill the bucket much less pack it which has always been my experience in 58 years. Here the food was more than an inch below and lightly tossed. (Perfect example of a business short changing the customer for sake of profits) In sum nasty unhygienic food preparation procedures and you get short changed for the food ... After all I ordered a big bucket ... So I expect to get the bucket full, not lightly filled. If you try to switch my wings for more rice again instead of giving me what I actually ordered, I won’t just leave a review—I’ll have every person in my household leave one too. You shouldn't have someone answering the phone who insists on changing customers’ orders. The same thing happened last week with her pushing combos. If we don't ask for it, don’t make the change. It honestly feels like you’re doing it to increase profit—swapping wings for cheaper rice.
I've been a loyal customer for over 15 years, but this was the worst experience I've had. I ordered honey garlic chicken wings for my wife's birthday—something I’ve ordered countless times. But the person taking the order decided I should get a combo instead. I did not want a combo. I just wanted the wings.
What really pushed me to leave this review was how the manager handled it—rude, dismissive, and blaming me instead of fixing the issue. If the manager had handled it with basic professionalism, I wouldn’t be writing this. Was treated horribly after calling them and telling them my food arrived spilled all over the place the lady basically called me a liar and did not even want to see the pictures I took as proof because she said it was my word against the driver and I probably spilled the food myself and then took the pictures!!!! Really???? I was not asking for anything other then simply calling to let them know so that maybe they talk to their people and this wouldn't happen again! How rude!!! I was not offered so much as an apology! Instead treated horribly by this lady which should never work with customers as she is highly disrespectful and rude and does not know what customer service is at all!
