I left my wedding ring to get a sizing spacer and was very happy with the price. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. I picked up the ring and two of my diamonds were now a dark gray. I was told that was probably how I dropped off my ring which added insult to injury and then I was told it was probably just dirty. They asked to keep it for a few more days to send back to the jeweler to get it thoroughly cleaned. When I picked it up, it was honestly better than before but still clearly darker and less shiny than the rest. My ring is an eternity band with all the same very good quality diamonds around so the two dark diamond stand out like a black rock. The owner then had the audacity to offer to swap my two gray diamonds for the price of $120.00. In other words I could pay to have them fix what they ruined. In addition to the diamonds, the spacers they put are hideously put in making my once very pretty ring look cheaply made. I wish I could post a picture here because it's just hard to believe they would do such work. Laura and the daughter of the jeweler are very nice but I'm appalled by how the owner treated me. I've been consistently impressed by her dedication to finding the perfect piece for me, even when it meant going above and beyond.
On my last visit, I was searching for a very specific anklet and, while it wasn't immediately available, Laura didn't hesitate. She patiently guided me through custom options, meticulously explaining the design process, material choices, and associated costs. She presented a wide array of possibilities, offering thoughtful recommendations based on my style and preferences.
The clarity she provided regarding the timeframe and fees was incredibly helpful.

Read moreHappy to leave 5 stars here. Cutler Bay Jewelers is a breath of fresh air. The staff, Laura, is especially gifted as a genuinely kind and professional person. The prices are by far the best I've found. I went in for a new watch battery but came back the next day with two more watches and a repair on a sentimental ring. Very fair price again but more important to me, someone understood the value of a sentimental piece. I tried to have this same ring repaired at another place and was told "it's just not worth it." That really did a number on me. NEWS FLASH. Sentimental IS WORTH IT. They have a great selection of pieces that has to be seen to be believed. If you have someone hard to buy for, check this place out.
Update:. Apologies as the picture doesn't do it justice but I had show you. I am over the moon with their work on my ring. 5 stars....
