Handel's Homemade Ice Cream — Restaurant in Cuyahoga Falls

Ordered 1 banana split with no nuts , pineapple and coconut , 1 small hurricane and 1 small chocolate shake . She first handed me my banana split I looked at it . There was 2 scoops of chocolate ice cream and then 1 scoop of strawberry 2 dollops of whipped creams and a cherry , A big part of the hole ice cream was missing the banana 🤦🏼‍♂️ And vanilla icecream . Then 8 minuets I get my hurricane then 6 minuets I get my shake , at this point my no banana split is melted into a cream soup with cherrys and strawberry’s , my hurricane was a peanutbutter chocolate drink and the shake was the last thing and was actually fine . Then as she asked for 13.54 I asked for bananas on my banana split she tried her best to put the bananas on the ice cream which was like chopped and thrown on . It looked it was chocolate strawberry milk I had to take a picture cause I was standing there long enough to see this disaster . I stood in line for 15 minuets so I was not about to recieve my ice cream . I understand it was busy but I don’t think anyone else has issues with ice cream . Usually there great cause I mean it’s there is no cooking involved or mascrafting it’s ice cream . But they must have been working like crazy and running around sporadic cause it was busy and for everyone else they did great but...

To be 100% honest, I never used to care much for ice cream. I mean it was tasty, don't get me wrong, but it was never something I'd go out of my way to get. Well Handel's changed that! The texture of the ice cream is heavenly. It's soft for a scoop ice cream; it may even be softer than soft serve. I generally don't like ice cream when it starts to get melty, but the texture of this ice cream is so smooth and creamy that it's seriously amazing regardless of if it's started melting yet or not. On the flavor side, I am addicted to their cake batter and chocolate cake batter ice creams. They're both quite buttery, giving them a super rich taste. That may not be your thing; my best friend finds the butteriness to be too much, and she prefers the birthday cake and cake batter ice creams elsewhere that are sweeter. For me though, this ice cream is perfection. I get super excited when I find other cake-flavored ice cream by other brands and parlors, but I am consistently disappointed by them. The last time I went to this location it seemed as though a bunch of unsupervised teenagers were working there. I’m not opposed to having a good time but these kids were goofing around while a long line accumulated at the windows. After waiting in line for a good while, they finally took my order. They all seemed pretty preoccupied with themselves while doing so. The person who scooped my ice cream must’ve used a dirty scoop because I noticed a peanut buttery taste at the bottom of my cone. I’m allergic to peanuts so I had an allergic reaction. I was honestly kind of shocked because this has never happened to me at food establishment before. Please, make sure your staff knows what they’re doing and is in check. Maybe have some adults around. I don’t know if I’ll be coming back to this location, I don’t want another...
