Whoa... This was the worst customer service I've had since living here (15 years, 2003). (My mom and I love Panda Express, the chain. The store, itself, is sorely lacking.)
We got there at 9:15 exactly. 15 minutes before they close. I know, I know, not great. But at least it wasn't a few minutes before. They had already locked the door. 15, not a few minutes, early. 😂 I've worked at my fair share of restaurants, but no one has ever been that lazy. That's the laziest of the lazy on the staff's part.
The /worst/ part, however, was the drive through. The sign outside and online said that the drive-through closed at 10pm. We were in the drive-through at 9:21pm! After the girl nicely asked us to wait for a moment, she came back and said, "Hey guys, we're about to close. We might not have everything on the menu." My mom and I looked at each other, questioning. "Doesn't the drive-through close at 10?" "Yes, but our kitchen closes at like, 9." ???? What? I've never been told that before. We ended up just leaving and going to the Mandarin House, where we always go to. That was a terrible first impression and enough to make my mom swear off coming again. 😂
P.S. The girl at the Mandarin House also said she had a bad experience. That was comforting that is wasn't just us, but...
Read moreIt's time for me to make a comment. Multiple times when I've ordered through the drive-thru I would leave and go to my location and find out that they did not put the sauces in that I asked for and utensils. How can this be in an establishment with this kind of business? Also, in their a la carte boxes, if you order something that has green beans in it... I have had my à la carte boxes half full of green beans and the meat, whether it be honey sesame chicken or whatever else, is usually on the minimal side and the box filled halfway up with green beans. The green beans are not edible besides the fact that it's supposed to have meat in it, but it is unfair that you are charging almost $9 for a medium a la carte box only to give the customer mostly green beans. On top of that, the green beans are not cooked, and they are like green sticks. This is not good business. Give the customer what they asked for. It would show right on the screen what sauces I ordered and then I would drive away get to my location and no sauce in the bag. How can somebody forget a utensil? I have worked in fast food and those are the questions you ask yourself, what do they need in their bag so they can successfully eat their meal with no issues? This is Not...
Read moreWe have food from Panda Express almost every fortnight across locations from East Coast to mid West (NJ, PA, OH, IN, IL, IA, NE, KA) Evidently we like the taste, flavour & Service and it's convenient for us due to our frequent travel routine.
We dined at this particular location and ordered two plates of Fried rice with two entrees. On opening the box and having the food, we realized, they have served us DRIED rice instead of FRIED rice. Every morsel of the rice poking our mouth.
On informing the customer service representative, we were given the same rice in one entree box and we had no option but to trash it.
There was hardly any Mushroom chicken & kumpao chicken in the vessel & they emptied it by giving it to us.
We expected them to be genuine like other Panda Express branches do, by requesting us to wait while they make it fresh and give us. They were going to prepare more because they emptied it giving us, whatever little was sticking to the vessel.
The only thing that was good enough in terms of taste & quantity was the Teriyaki chicken.
Highly disappointing experience at this particular...
