First time here, my fiance took me here for Valentine's Day I told him I didn't want to go to a chain restaurant. I work at a chain restaurant and I just know how they run and know how the quqlity of the food is. I just wanted to try something different with some actual good food .So they were super nice they took us last minute on Valentine's Day with no reservation it was really sweet of them to do that our server was great I really wish I remembered his name though so that I could throw his name out there so that he got credit for this review anyways the place was super cute the food was outstanding the lobster bisque soup is a must must try at that place and the stake OMG melt in my mouth I work at Outback Steakhouse and ever since I came to your restaurant on Valentine's Day and had that steak anytime I eat steak at my work I literally want to cry because it tastes nothing like the steak I had at this place!!! If you like martinis this is the place to go they have a whole menu full different types of martinis then they are good and strong!! I had the lemon drop one and the chocolate one, definitely recommend both of those!! We did not get dessert but their dessert menu looked amazing maybe next time we will get dessert.. the Ambiance was super cute I don't know if they always have it like that or if it was just like this for Valentine's Day but it was like dark in there and they had like candles on the tables and real dim lighting it was nice!! This restaraunt was a new try for me and my boyfriend as we always try places we have never been! Usually they are great experiences for us but this experience was terrible! The atmosphere was nice but crowded and small! So we sit down at our table and the waitress comes to serve us! We order our food and our alcoholic beverages! My boyfriend gets a beer and i get a martini! We do not really drink and i prefer the fruitier less alcohol tasting drinks! The waitress reccomended my drink for that purpose! I get my drink and it was so strong that I couldn't handle the taste! The waitress tells me if it isnt to my liking they will get me a different one! As she takes my drink away the bartender comes to our table with bad etiquette and manner asking whats wrong with the drink! We then explain to him how neither of us are major drinkers and i am into fruitier drinks! The bartender rudely yells out how if he made me another drink he would have to charge us for a second one as if we weren't able to provide the funds! That behavior started to irritate us! He asked if he could doctor it up so my response to reduce further aggravation was sure let us see what we can do! He doctors it up and drink came back... better but still gross! So our meals arrive and we start to eat it tasted decent but not worth $40 a plate! As my boyfriend goes to dig into his meal he finds a little black hair on his onions! A hair! Instantly we lost our appetites and asked for the check! He did not pay for his plate because why would you after not even being able to enjoy it? Worst service I have experienced in years, if ever. Had a reservation booked a week and half before a very important birthday event. Even called a few days before the reservation date to add 2 more guests. Arrived on time; Restaurant didn't have the reservation. No plan to accommodate us. I began making suggestions because the hostess and a waitress were unable to come up with a solution on their own. They decided to stick us in a noisy, with music too loud, corner in the bar next to a coat rack. No manager on site, nor anyone with any authority was present that evening I was told. Our waitress gave me the owner's number on a post it note for me to call the next day (not the other way around; the owner call me to remedy). When I called the owner the next day, she told me she was unaware of any problem; no one called her to explain the issue, nor let her even know I'd be calling. The owner said she'd call me back once she found out why reservation wasn't in the book, as she told me she herself took the reservation and follow up call I made to add to the guest list. That was last Friday...still no call back or voicemail from the owner. Their arrogance in this experience is very disappointing...especially from a little restaurant in Cuyahoga...
