This is a tried and true location that my friends visit from time to time, usually when someone is on a return visit from out-of-state. It's one of the cleaner and better staffed billiards locations that I've been to.
The staff is typically pretty friendly and chill, as long as you're respectful and just a generally decent human being during your visit. There are lots of beer options and some bar food as well.
The crowd is typically a mix of college-aged students (being next to Cypress CC), locals, Marines (recruiting office next door), and the occasional friendly old-timer. They do card, so bring your ID. It gets pretty busy over the weekend - sometimes there is a DJ and jelloshot vendors as well - so if crowds aren't your thing, shoot for a weekday (pun intended).
There are are just under a dozen pool tables available for use and pool cues that you can borrow if you don't have your own. You will need to leave collateral (card or ID) with the staff to ensure that you don't walk off with their stuff when you claim a table.
Additionally there is table seating to eat/hang out at, a big TV and couch area for watching sports, darts (plastic), and just a generally good vibe as long as you're looking for fun and not trying to cause...

There are not as many tables as at some pool halls, I think there's like 8 or 9 tables, but there is a good flow to traffic there and we had no trouble getting to a game. They have a foosball table and a couple of dart boards, game nights where you can request actual board games, and at almost every table they have a Jenga set up so that you can play with your friends. The best days to go for a cheap price are Mondays and Wednesday when the price is $4 The rest of the week seems to vary. Sundays are $6 and Friday and Saturday are the regular price of $9 and change. These prices are offset by happy hour which brings them down to $6. We paid for beer and an hour at the table and it was $18. The bartender said if you come on a Monday or Wednesday, the same combination would be $8. The environment was very nice and I could definitely recommend this to anybody who wanted to have a nice experience...
Read moreFraudulent! We've been here plenty of times in the past, always loved it. Last Friday was different though, many new faces working. When trying to close out our tab, they charged an extra $10 beer that wasn't ours. We asked for it to be removed and the manager threw $2 at us. He insisted it was only a 2 dollar difference from the beer we bought. But that particular beer was on a different tab; I was still being charged an extra $10. After much commotion, they paid me back with their tips but lost my bill so I was unable to total and sign. After even more commotion, the bartender said she'd close it out at the current amount. Something seemed fishy about the whole experience. Two days later, my card was closed for fraudulent activity. Campus was the last place I...
