Jason's Deli — Restaurant in Cypress

The food and everything is always great which is why this has a second star, but I have consistently had a very uncomfortable and unpleasant experience with a certain employee who just so happens to be the one who consistently takes my order. My first time in the store he made it almost impossible to order because every time I tried to order something he questioned me over and over on the specifics and laughed at me when I didn’t know the answer and attempted to point out the item on the menu behind him even after I told him it was my first time in the restaurant. Despite this the food was really good so I decided to go again but try drive through in hopes he wouldn’t be there or it would somehow be less awkward but I was wrong. When I asked for a minute to look at the menus he said sure but than proceeded to sing “this old man” into the drive through mic at full volume. Then while I was ordering when I asked if there was a soup and sandwich combo he proceeded to laugh hysterically to the point that he asked me to give him a minute. I wasn’t sure if this was the same guy but when i pulled up to pay and get my food it was. I don’t know his name all i know is he has no hands and long hair. Again I got my food and everything was great but the customer service I’ve received has made me nervous...

Let me start by saying this location and the morning crew deserve 10 stars! I've been on a liquid fasting diet for almost 15 months. I eat about 1 cup of solid food a WEEK. I've lost 90lbs but it's gotten harder to just be full on 1 smoothie a day. This location opens at 7am and I got there at 8am and saw the sign about breakfast only in the drive-thru and just knew the door would be locked. The door was unlocked and the drive- thru person was so friendly! He said I couldn't get a salad until 10am (same time I start work). I was crushed since I was so excited about food. The mgr (?) saw us and heard I wanted the salad bar. He said it was OK for me to get my salad once the super nice lady finished setting it up - and she was so quick! I waited maybe 3 mins for her to finish. EVERYTHING on the salad bar was fresh and delicious. I was sooo happy since that salad was what I was going to eat for the next 3 days. This location is very clean, food is fresh, morning crew were all nice and friendly and you could see they have a higher standard at this location than a lot of other Jason's Deli locations. Choose this location and you won't be disappointed but will leave full, happy and satisfied. They will see me at least once...

My wife, daughter, and I have been dining frequently at this Cypress location #244 for about five years now. We Love the food and most of the staff and the extremely nice managers and assistant managers. The seating is ample and the windows are nice and big. The only problem we have is with an overbearing cashier named, 'Leticia.' My wife has been tipping her well, every time we dine there, but she has been very rude to my wife, and sometimes even over charges her or refuses her discounts. She also has refused to give my daughter the kids meal before numerous times. This last time she told my wife her water cup was only for water, even though my wife only gets water, to begin with! Keep in mind that my wife is handicapped, has only one eye, and walks with a small gait from her injury. I asked the manager if it could be due to Leticia's culture that she discriminates against handicapped customers, or if it was just due to her own bad character? The manager was super nice, apologized for Leticia, repetitively, and said we wouldn't have to deal with her anymore there.
