Juice It Up! — Restaurant in Cypress

I have been looking for a place to get acai in a pinch at lunch and I found these guys close to my work. Super happy about that.... and surprisingly the acai was not that bad! The granola was a bit old but the ice was pretty tasty for a place not known for that. The parking lot is very busy and can be difficult to maneuver at lunch time. The service.... meh!..... there was only 2 people working at lunch on a Friday. They could have easily had 2 more people to keep up with the orders. It took about 10-15 minutes to get my order so I ended up eating at my desk. The staff was friendly I suppose but they were just too busy to engage. I have never worked in the food industry before but to me it seems that they could set their stations up way more efficiently to save time from running...

I’d like to start off by saying that juice it up as a company is great and I Absolutely love their smoothies but unfortunately this time around I have nothing positive to say about this particular experience. It was my first time at this location and I was surprised to have been met with an employee (she had tattoos) not wearing a name tag, uniform and or apron. Hygiene and presentation is not something that should be taken very lightly in the food industry but I let it slide until I was met with a face full of attitude from the worker and the worst smoothie i’ve ever had from a juice it up store. I came in today (3/13/24) there was 5 people ahead of me I order my smoothie waited I was on call so I didn't pay attention of the time after I clicked I looked at the time 30 mins had passed waiting for 1 drink.. and mind you there was still 2 people ahead of me. Me and another customer wanted our refund back the manager on the phone still asked why!! Really why no you tell me why you leave a new associate by herself in the store.
