The Original Rainbow Cone — Restaurant in Cypress

This place is so cute and the employees are so kind and welcoming. I ordered online for an in store pick-up so that I could be in and out. We ordered three milkshakes, and all of them were perfect. They put a couple of mini donuts on top of each shake, and that was enough to get us to go back the next day for just the donuts. On the Thursday night order, it was ready at the expected time and really fast. On Friday night, they were so busy, and even though the donuts were ready at the time my email said they would be, the employees were so apologetic about the wait. The donuts are so fresh and fluffy. They aren't oil heavy, and they practically melt in your mouth. The shakes are thick but not heavy. I was exceptionally with the ease of drinking them. Nothing got stuck in the straw! We got cookie dough and butter pecan, and nothing got stuck - IYKYK. We will definitely be back, probably sooner than later. I have one single complaint: There was an option on the toast app to leave a tip, but they don't have a tip jar in store. When I was waiting the second time, two people in a row at the cashier asked if there was a tip jar. I think one should be set out, the employees were...

I have loved Rainbow Cone since the first time I tried it in Chicago Illinois, and I was so excited when I found they were opening one in my own backyard! I’ve visited this shop many times since it has opened and I have never had a bad experience. All the ice cream is always a great little treat. BUT the donuts are a must have ! They are always so fresh, warm and airy. I love that they are made fresh and there is so many different types to choose from. Not only does this shop have amazing desserts but it always has an amazing staff. Justin R was such a great help when it came to answering all of my questions, and helping me choose what to get. He had great patience and a great attitude towards not only myself but the other customers he helped out. The owner Anne is also so friendly! I will be honest, the first time I set foot in the store it seemed like a typical ice cream store. However, this one special employee was the true reason for this perfect performance. The employee named Ryan Yang was very welcoming, nice, helpful and friendly. He provided suggestions and was altogether friendly in general. One could compare this sort of kindness comparable to Keanu Reeves the one who donates to the less fortunate. This employee most definitely exceeded expectations.
