First time i’m trying Waba grill. I had heard a lot about it and figured since I had forgotten to bring lunch to work, this was a good option. Close by and the value meal seemed like a good deal. Unfortunately, I was disappointed from start to finish. The poor gal that answered the phone seemed extremely stressed out and busy. When I went in to pick up my food, she had the same energy of being extremely stressed out. Management should be making a better effort at hiring employees, and making it worth their while to work at that location. it’s not fair to the staff you currently have for them to be that stressed out all the time trying to make things happen As for the food. The flavor was OK. But the order was completely messed up. I had ordered the mini tofu bowl with brown rice. What I received was a chicken bowl with white rice. The taco I ordered as a side was correct. Both items, however, were room temperature. I drove less than five minutes up the road and got to the location within five minutes of putting my order in. There is no reason that any of the food should’ve been room temperature. I got an iced tea to drink. The iced tea was not rude correctly, and was extremely strong and tasted horrible. I had to water it down with almost half a cup of water before it was drinkable. Hopefully this was just an off day, but looking at other reviews, it seems that this location has ongoing issues. Not only with customer service or employees being stressed out, but also with food quality as well. I will likely not be going to this location again.(especially for $10, not worth it if it’s meh) I would be willing to try another location to see if a different one is better...
Read moreI have always liked Waba and this is the location I go to but last Saturday I had the worst service ever. I ordered the salad with salmon and the young girl at the register was having trouble entering my order on the register. After a few minutes she moved to the other register and continued to have problems, so her solution was to ask me “do you have cash?”. After replying no she went to another young lady for help and entered my order. I then told her “can you please make my salmon with pink?” She went to the girl who was about to cook the salmon and came back and asked, “so you want it raw?” I said no just a little pink inside. She went back to the girl who then came to the counter and said “I don’t know how to make it that way”. To help her out I told her to cook it about the time she usually does and as she held the salmon in her hand she said “Im going to do my best”. I took my order home and when I cut a piece of the salmon I saw that it was just seared on the outside and raw inside, totally raw and cold. I cooked the salmon myself. Read moreI went to this waba grill and I ordereded chicken bowl and my wife ordered a beef bowl we wanted extra onions on the bowls and teriyaki sauce, jacked the cashier 6 times to put the onions and teriyaki sauce on my bowls and the cashier stated they were in the bowls and bag and their was no way that this can happen so I called their to speak to manager and was told to leave my name and number and someone would return my call I have yet been called back from anyone and my food was not the way it looks on their menu poster besides taking my money they basically said don't come back and I want be going back their but it is a shame to spend your money and not having to get what you have ordered thats a serious problem for me and I will be contacting the department of business consumer affairs, and filing some other complaints because I should of been treated much...
