I usually don’t leave bad reviews because i feel bad and I don’t want to hurt the restaurant, but I was a little disappointed with this place. I really wanted to like this but I’m not going to lie, I was not a fan of the butter chicken. It was very very oily and the chicken in it was crunchy, it seemed like it was not fully cooked or maybe just not good quality chicken. I couldn’t eat anymore of the chicken. Also, I placed my order online before I left for lunch break and on the website it says to give about 15-20 minutes wait time. Well I placed the order at 12:05pm and left around 12:25-12:30pm and when I got there, around 12:40pm, the food was still not ready, which was fine but then they took another 10 minutes. It’s not a big deal, I know they are busy and only maybe 2-3 people back in kitchen, but I was more disappointed in the food than anything. Aside from the butter chicken being very very oily, the taste of it wasn’t bad, maybe 3/5, but the chicken was not good. And it’s honestly too pricey for a butter chicken that doesn’t come with rice, it was $13.99 just on its own and thankfully I bought garlic bread to eat with it. I’m sad because I wanted to like this place and the manager/cashier was very friendly and nice, but I was left disappointed. So I give...

I love finding the hidden gems around a city and their unexpected delights. With that expectation I came in Cafe Laziz and ordered takeout. This place is tucked away off I45 and my expectations were high. First up food quality (ingredients) was excellent. However, the taste was way off the mark (read too off) than its competitors. We ordered chicken biriyani, naan and Karahi chicken. Priced supremely cheap, the biriyani had quality basmati rice and loaded in one box. Karahi chicken was spicy (expected) but to an extent it becomes atomic. Both, disastrously failed to make a mark on the tastebud. It is tough to put a harsh review for this place. I recommend you all to try this place so that it can get at least more business and rethink their cooking styles...

My experience with this restaurant was pathetic. The food, the response of the staff, the service, the hygiene all is a big ZERO. Starting from the entry into the place till the exit was an ordeal for my wife and myself. When I entered the restroom, the commode was full of….. When we stood in front of the big mustache guy his response for asking the order was like we were his servants and he was giving us a free food. And then adding fuel to the fire was the fact that they gave us half cooked naans with a watery broth in the name of “chicken Karhai”. In the very start, I saw hair in the broth and I was about to vomit into the plate. We left the place without eating it. I would suggest and advise you guys never go there otherwise you will come with...

Café Laziz in Dallas: We had an amazing dining experience at Café Laziz in Dallas! From start to finish, everything was delicious and satisfying. We ordered Kabuli Palaw, Pacha, Kabab, and for dessert, the traditional Watani Shiryakh—each dish was full of authentic flavor and freshly prepared. One of the best parts is the variety of meals available on the menu—you’ll have plenty of options to choose from. And impressively, they prepare everything fresh and have it ready in about 20 minutes! I highly recommend this place to everyone, especially foodies who love Afghan cuisine or are looking to try something new. Great taste, fast service, and a welcoming atmosphere—Café Laziz truly delivers!

I went to Cafe (NOT) Laziz for lunch today. I don't know in which part of the world, this could be considered "Chicken Karahi". Tasteless pieces of chicken surrounded with half cooked huge chunks of tomatoes swimming in some liquid. See the pictures I took (In one of the pictures, I removed the chicken to show the tomatoes and liquid). Served with no chatni or salad. Two bites and I was done. One star because the naan was good. Compare the two pictures I took with the third picture of Chicken Karahi at this restaurant's website. Can they please post on their website which restaurant actually serves that one? :)
