I went to this bar late at night with a few friends and we were looking for fun and good drinks. Now I have a service dog. He is very well trained and medically prescribed so he goes with me everywhere. Me and my friends go to this bar and I was immediately denied entry by the bouncer saying that I could go in but I had to stay on the patio because of “the dog”. My service dog is wearing a vest that blatantly says SERVICE ANIMAL DO NOT PET. I am astonished at this point so I tell them that he should be allowed to entry into their bar since he is required entry anywhere I go unless he physically can not go with me. The bouncer argued with me saying no he cannot enter because it’s a liability for them which is incorrect if anything was to happen I would be the one liable not the restaurant as he is MY service dog. Which I told him and he then further denied me entry saying that “I am not going to argue with you. You can either come in and stay on the patio or leave.” Which I thought was completely uncalled for. So I said fine we’ll stay on the patio. My group goes in and we sit down and to be entirely honest we are now looking for other places to go because there was nothing to do on the patio. We had come for the arcade aspect of this bar and that was inside so why would we stay if we couldn’t do that? So as we are looking for other places to go a waiter comes over and starts serving us with menus and waters and as he is getting ready to ask for our orders he completely disregards my service dogs vest and pest my service animal as he is working. I immediately tell him to stop petting my service dog and he completely disregards me and continues petting and asks me if I am ready to order a drink. I’m furious at this point as he is still petting and distracting my service dog. So I tell him no we do not want drinks and to please leave so he does. This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had in my time having a service dog and my time going to bars. I highly suggest you do not go here.

Edit:

These are blatant lies my service dog fully had a service vest that said do not pet Service Animal that was bright teal. I am even further saddened to see the owner of this establishment say these things as before I went this bar I had already gone to 2 other bars with my service dog since he is a SERVICE DOG NOT A PET. Further after I left this bar I went to another bar and had no issues entering those bars with my service animal after 1am so how does it make any sense for you to deny entry solely based on the fact that its “busy”. You can be sure that after these comments I will never be coming back here and anyone else Ill be sure to tell not to come here as the service is appalling. And even further so what you are saying is that your establishment is not accommodating to people with disabilities because its...

I suffered a serious injury to my face a few months ago and so especially for that reason it has been difficult for me to get myself out and having fun with friends. Last Friday night I received a brutal reminder that apparently I don't look enough like myself anymore post-injury by a rude bouncer. I have never run into this problem at any bars before now, as I am the same person in my ID picture, just with a large scar and a broken nose now. After handing my drivers license to the bouncer he held me up for at least a half a minute while others waited behind me and then asked if I had another ID. I said yes and handed him my handgun license. After staring at both ID's and my face he asked if I had a card or something else also with my name on it. (2 forms of ID should have been MORE than enough) Politely I showed my insurance card with the same name as the others (MY 3RD FORM OF ID) . Even with all this proof and the explanation about my injury, this man denied my entry, citing that he didn't believe any of my Identification was legitimate or that it was me, despite me being 24 and having been a patron for years. This was a very painful reminder of my injury and how I am going to be looked at and treated differently moving forward now that my face looks differently than other's. Im sorry if this was a misunderstanding but its hard to think otherwise after showing 3 different forms of ID and having a bouncer chuckle to himself as he denies me, thinking that I am...

5 star dive maybe but this bar is absolutely horrendous. Let’s talk about the MINT LEAVES they tried to deceive me with on my Margherita pizza when I clearly can see it’s not basil. LOL. Then when I bring to their attention they tell me it’s good and to eat it. I tell the guy it’s nasty and he tells me to stop yelling. I never raised my voice once. The tall white male bartender with the long brown hair and the long face, stay away from this man at all cost especially if you are a woman. Just don’t even give your money to this bar. Also, for the ladies….use the bathroom before you come here. You don’t wanna get kicked out for using the mens restroom when the ladies bathroom is out of order. Either that or bring your urostomy bag to collect your urine. If you enjoy holding your pee, paying 20 dollars for 2 drinks, mint on your margherita pizza, out of order bathrooms and shiesty bartenders this...

Old school meets new school at Barcadia. From Gen Z, to Baby Boomers, all can be found having a great time, and lively conversations here. Definitely in need of a revamp, which I hear is coming soon, however it will maintain its original charm, with a few upscale perks. Although smaller than some other arcade spots in town the affordable games, food and cocktails along with live music on certain nights makes it an excellent option. If you’re an outdoor person they offer seating for you as well. Dallas can be quite warm day or night, and you’ll feel it, if they have the garage doors open to the patio, so dress accordingly. You’ll enjoy the staff who go out of their way to make every guest feel at home. Parking can be tricky in the area if their lot is full. I’m sure my rating will go up after the remodel, however it’s worth enjoying now. You just might run into me. XOXO LORENZO!

Food and service were great. They came and said they needed to tab me out. I asked for an itemized bill. She said she couldn’t get me one until after I paid. I told her I wasn’t going to pay without seeing an itemized bill. She said I can’t get you an itemized bill. You can look on my screen and see what you ordered. So I looked and said I don’t think we had 6 wines. I decided not to argue with her. So I couldn’t see the subtotal or that there was an auto tip. So I tipped 20%. After I paid and had the receipt sent to my phone it showed they charged an auto tip of 25%. So I tipped over $92. So even though the service and the food were great I won’t be back!! Buyer BEWARE!!

I loved this place before the remodel but now definitely love it more. The place is revamped with a cool vibe, a fresh paint job, more selections for drinks and food. It feels not only like a bar but a place to go for not only drinks but a fun time which now includes awesome food. I had an amazing mojito that was so tasty I might have had two more. Maybe?!? No definitely
