UPDATE* I’ll leave the original review to contrast the significant improvement that I can only assume is the result of new management. But I must first say that everyone today was polite, fast, effective, and reminiscent of the chipotle experience one had come to expect before the seeming decline that is probably attributed to pandemic stressors initially. I haven’t even eaten the food yet as I was so impressed with the service that I needed to update this review immediately.
This time the food was obviously prepared well and not sloppy and I can that that it will taste just as expected. The taste was rarely an issue even before the improvement to service though or I’d have stopped coming a long time ago. The previous food quality issue was wether or not any of the toppings made it inside the tortilla instead of all over the foil and inside the bag, sloppily made with frustration, though sometimes the meats were burnt and things just looked rough. This time everything was well cooked and handled with respect and care. While busy, the entire crew worked as a team. I have to believe there’s a new manager and I can definitely see that there are new team members.
I’m not sure what factors contributed to the previous decline when I gave 2 stars, but I have to say that this is once again a 5 star location. It was night and day. The last dozen times I’d come to this location it just kept getting worse, but the issues have very obviously been fixed.
original review If they’re not out of something, they’re either rude or make the food so poorly I don’t even want to eat it. Too often it’s all three! This location used to be great and over the last few months it’s just declined so severely. Go to another location if you don’t have an...
Read moreThe employee, Hispanic short female with facial piercings and hat was very rude to me. I initially told the original lady that was helping me that I had an allergy to avocados and and she made sure there was no cross contamination by getting a different batch of cheese out of the fridge. Then the Hispanic girl took over. She asked if I had another order and then when I said yes, she stated, “then why didn’t you say that.” I just stayed quiet and continued ordering. I was reading from my phone, the order was texted to me, and it was obvious that she was annoyed that I was on my phone while telling her the order. I had the back of my hand on the “sneeze guard” trying to keep my phone still (I just got done working out and I have trouble seeing without my glasses) and she then rudely commented, “can you get your hands off the sneeze guard” and rolled her eyes. I continued to ignore it because I wasn’t trying to instigate though, I should’ve said something. As she was finishitn the bowl I ordered for someone else, I said guacamole as well, she then put it on there. After that, the oven that had the quesadilla I ordered for myself rang. She then, keeping the same gloves on touched my quesadilla with her gloves that she touched the guacamole with and cut it with a knife as well. At this point, I didn’t want it anymore but I still paid for my two items and left. Will probably not return to this location again. It’s very unprofessional how rude she was being, especially when it appeared that either the GM or higher level supervisor was siting at the table right in front of the bar with what appeared to be the...
Read moreI would give this location ZERO stars but the cashier was nicer then the rest of the front line. I walked in , didn’t get greeted at all. NOBODY smiled at me even tho I kept saying please and thank you with a big smile. I felt like the first person I encountered with was upset/overwhelmed so I didn’t want to make her day worse. As soon as she finished with my bowl I was going to ask for 3 small flour tortillas but she stormed off as she slid my bowl to the salsa station. Okay I was okay with that because she looked like she needed a breather knowing rush hour was just over. So as soon as I asked the cashier for my small tortillas the associate in the to go station looked at me and told me to next time ask for it in the beginning because it was holding up the line ( there was literally one customer behind me or I wouldn’t even bothered to ask for it) so I look over to the person behind me and she also looked behind her to see “the long line” and the cashier looked at me and told me I was good to go. I am the type of customer to just keep my head down and take my food and apologize for the inconsistency. I felt unwanted and uncomfortable. I used to work at a chipotle that got way busier than what that location gets and we were never that disrespectful. I go to this location because it’s is 2 minutes from my job but if that’s how I’m going to be treated I rather drive to a location that is 20 minutes away to avoid being treated that way. It sucks because I go once a week here and the service just kept getting...
