I went to see a doctor at this place after calling to find out if they had a Ultrasound as I was having abdominal pain all night and it was a Sunday, they said they had a ultrasound so I drove 20min from my place and got there, just to make sure they had ultrasound I asked the lady again and she was sure they had it later when I was waiting in the room to see the doctor I was told they dont have ultrasound and at this point since I waited for this long I went ahead and saw the doctor. The doctor prescribed me a GI cocktail to drink and right after I drank it asked if the pain was better so I said I had just taken it less than a minute ago and no the pain is still there so she referred me to the ER for further work up as it was sunday and none of the diagnostic places were open. So I got out of the room paid my bill and was driving to the ER suddenly my pain was gone which was after 15-20min of the the medicine they had given me. Now that I was not having pain I thought why to waste resources of Emergency department if my pain is under control as its not an emergency situation I rather went home. Next morning, I again felt pain which was Monday morning so I called the doctors office to see since it was monday and that the diagnostic places are open if the doctor would write me prescription for it, I waited 3hrs but they didnt call me when I called the office they said that the nurse and the doctors are really busy taking care of the patients as if I was not the patient (and this was all in very rude way). So I decided to drive down there to find out that the doctor there didnt want to write any prescription or even see me to do a followup as this was not the doctor who saw me yesterday and he wants me to go the ER if I am having pain as that was the recommendation from the doctor yesterday. How does that even make sense a patient is here for a follow up and is agreeable to see by any doctor and they refuse to see them. Anyways, I was asked to come the following day to see the doctor as she will be on duty. Tuesday, I woke up at 8 and called the doctors office and asked if the doctor can write me for the diagnostic prescription, the lady who picked up the phone said she will call me back. I waited for 3 hrs again but didnt hear anything so I drove to the place. After I get there the personnel over there tells me that the doctor wants to reevaluate me, I said ok but here is the catch I will have to PAY AGAIN. If they had told me this over the phone I would not have wasted my time, money and energy. I would rather find a pcp and pay less for the same service since its a weekday than to pay them AGAIN. I refused to pay a dime for the Crappy service and wish they refunded my money. It surprises me how all these people are there just for money, they are not there to CARE for the patients. I feel like they took my money...
Read moreI was referred to this CareNow location after a workplace injury in February 2025. What I experienced here was incredibly frustrating and disappointing â especially at a time when I was in pain and needed help. The doctor repeatedly refused to complete my work restriction forms properly, even after I told her my pain was too severe to return to work. I was told, âIâm not allowed to give time off,â and that I should go to another clinic if I needed it. That didnât sit right with me. When I spoke with a supervisor, I was told something along the lines of âYou should find a new job, if you're really about your hustleâ â which felt completely unprofessional and dismissive of my situation. I could not believe my employer would be in contract with a company like this. After confirming a follow-up appointment, I showed up only to wait 45 minutes and be told that the doctor had refused to see me and had already contacted my workersâ comp company to stop treatment. I was never notified of this, and no alternative care was offered. Iâve since filed complaints with the Texas Medical Board and the Division of Workersâ Compensation. No one should be treated this way when theyâre injured and trying to recover. If you're dealing with a work-related injury, I highly suggest looking for care somewhere else.------HERE IS THE FOLLOW UP SINCE CARENOW POSTED THE FREEFORM RESPONSE PRETENDING TO BE SORRY FOR MY EXPERIENCE ETC.....CARENOW HAD THE AUDACITY TO CALL ME AND TELL ME SHE DID NOT SAY THOSE THINGS. LIKE I REALLY JUST MADE THAT UP, AND THEN TRY TO TALK AROUND IT AS IF IT WAS SAID ANOTHER WAY. THIS IS A POOR EXCUSE FOR A MEDICAL FACILITY OF ANY CALIBER. IF ANYONE SENDS YOU HERE, THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU, THEY ARE ONLY LOOKING TO...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would. I don't know if they are cheap or the medical professionals do not do their due diligence but I came in complaining of a sore throat, cough, sinus pressure and expressed I took tylenol and mucinex. They only did a strep test (I recommended) which came out negative, and they sent me on my way with lidocaine. Within two hours I called them back to see if i could get a covid and flu test as my symptoms were progressing with more cold symptoms runny/stuffy nose and I expressed I may have been exposed to the flu, and was told yes. I came back to their office and they expected me to PAY for a NEW visit when I was just there 2 hours ago for the same illness and I was in need of extra testing THEY did not think to do. They refused to test me without paying again. The provider as well as the manager staff were blaming me for not providing enough information for them to conclude that I had the flu to do a test. I told them I did express those cold symptoms mentioned above and how i took tylenol and mucinex which would have lessened my symptoms if i had a fever and more severe cold symptoms. As medical professionals, how can you blame the patient when itâs your job to investigate what could be causing these symptoms. Am I the patient who didn't spend years studying medicine supposed to exactly tell them what tests I need in order for them to do their job. I ended up going to a different urgent care the next day and it turns out I do have the flu. I plan on escalating this further. My provider was Farnaz Asadifard, NP and Mirna Mejia was the nurse. This was a gross misstep on their part especially since I ACTUALLY...
