DO NOT BUY A FRIDGE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT A ROACH INFESTATION IN YOUR HOME.
My husband and I were moving into our first home, the home was newly remodeled, everything was patched up in this home and we were there for a few months and not a roach in sight before we finally came into this store and bought a refrigerator. We got insurance on the fridge and they wrapped up the fridge and put it into our car. Fast forward to month after having the refrigerator we started finding roaches coming out from underneath the fridge we tried everything and when we finally pulled out the fridge and opened up the back panel… full on cockroach infestation, they eventually got into the WiFi router (new) our brand new microwave, our brand new play station, started hiding in all our food, they would come out when we had company, it was a living nightmare, we’ve tried everything to take care of the infestation and it’s been over a year and we still have not been able of the horrific infestation, we spray and a few months later they all come back and infest everything all over again, we can’t afford to get rid of the fridge either because they also decided to back interest us almost a thousand dollars as well so we’re stuck with it and they keep infesting every single appliance in our home and getting into everything. The first time we discovered it I tried calling the insurance apparently because it is roach infested it is voided, so they had us pay for an insurance they knew we were never going to be able to use, on top of that I also tried calling Best Buy and no one wanted to connect us to the actual store apparently “there was not a number they could connect directly to the store” nobody knew anything and they told us all we could do was haul the fridge back to the store and hope the manager would take it back. This store is scamming people by selling faulty products that are not what is advertised the only thing the fridge said was wrong with it was a ding and a few scuffs, they should’ve also specified they’re selling ROACH INFESTED REFRIGERATORS. The staff looked absolutely guilty the second we were buying it and they wrapped it in plastic wrap so any remaining roaches wouldn’t...
Read moreDelivery is way more hassle than it's worth, even if free or discounted i would skip it and hire honest, competent people. Delivery drivers call and don't leave voice-mail ("some do, some don't"), don't answer their phone when you call back, don't wait outside in your giant driveway for more than 2 minutes when they claim to wait 15 minutes, don't ring the ring camera bell (bc they never approached your door, you later learn)and take a picture from a 50 ft distance and then claim that's proof they knocked on the door. Then the home delivery assistant manager for market 15 named Eric backs them up completely claiming there's a picture of the front door. It isn't until you escalate the situation that you are told, actually it's taken from the street below and they didn't even walk up the steps. Huh. That explains why the ring camera didn't pick them up and when we went outside twice looking for them we didn't see them. Also according to Eric, home delivery assistant manager, it's up to the driver's discretion if they actually wait or if they drive around your neighborhood for a while and claim they waited and he supports them in that. Also, even when they call you and you call them back, they aren't supposed to answer the phone so don't bother. Even though we called them twice during the supposed 15 minute window when they were "waiting" (best buy definition of waiting means they can drive off, at the discretion of the driver) for "15 minutes" and you would think that would tell them we are home and we were looking for them but no, they ignored our calls and later get the full backing of their assistant manager Eric. Now we are without a refrigerator until they "attempt" a delivery again. They could repeat this entire thing again all over again and still get the support of their home delivery assistant...
Read moreI want to share my experience with this outlet store to help others make informed decisions. In June 2024, I purchased an LG OLED TV from the Best Buy Outlet. At the store, the TV was tested, and everything seemed to work fine. I even joked with the staff about my bad luck with OLED TVs, as my last one had a panel issue. While I inquired about a warranty, I forgot to follow up before bringing the TV home, which was a mistake on my part.
Unfortunately, when I set the TV up at home, I immediately noticed a vertical green line on the screen. I had been very careful while transporting and setting up the TV, but I can’t say for certain whether the damage happened during that time or if it was a flaw that wasn’t caught at the store. Either way, the TV was unusable, so I returned to the store the same day to explain the situation.
The staff refused to accept the return, citing their policy that once a product leaves the store, any issues are no longer their responsibility. While I understand their policy, it was extremely frustrating to lose $600 on a product that wasn’t functional. The manager offered me a discount on another TV, which I appreciated, but I couldn’t afford to spend more money after such a significant loss.
As someone who doesn’t make a lot of money, this was a devastating experience. I wish the store had clearer communication about return policies and warranty options to avoid this kind of outcome. While I won’t shop here again, I hope my experience encourages others to take precautions and inspires the store to consider more flexible policies for...
