I had a very disappointing experience at the customer service desk today. The lady at the desk was unprofessional and not welcoming at all. She was on the phone when I arrived—I'm not sure if it was personal or work-related, but either way, it gave a very unprofessional impression.
The signs clearly say “walk-ins welcome,” yet I was told I needed an appointment. That feels misleading and like false advertising. I pay for services through Best Buy, and if my device stops working, it shouldn’t be this difficult to get help.

Read moreThis is incredible. We purchased a Maytag (now Whirlpool) from Best Buy with an extended warranty. This is the 4th time we will need service in the last couple of months. Now, they are telling me it will be 2 weeks before they can come out. So far we have had a water pump replaced, the tub and bearing replaced. Then another time because it wasn't hooked up right they had to come out a nd replace a connection. If they get this resolved in a much faster manner I will revise this, but at this point I would not buy anything from Best Buy again. And we purchase...
Read moreI came in about my 2016 laptop which had a broken hinge but otherwise works fine. Will was wonderful, very helpful and honest with me about my options. Unfortunately if you don't purchase and maintain a Best Buy protection plan, it seems like there's nothing they can do for you, at least in my case with an "old" device... I will have to work with Dell and try and get it fixed elsewhere. I was willing to spend money to get it fixed, of course, but they couldn't help me.
