3/17/2023 I can't remember a time I have felt this belittled. I gave Crickle and Co money to treat me poorly.
Today as our Anniversary breakfast we visited Crickles and Co. and Walked into a swanky brunch spot. The cashier’s greeting was a common greeting. It was our first visit and he walked us through the menu and provided us with ample time to decide. My husband ordered the build-your-own omelet and I ordered Chef's omelet. The food was delivered to our tables quickly. Up until then, the experience was a normal dining out experience. I began to dig in and my omelet was missing the second ingredient on the menu “smokey brisket”. To be clear, I received about half an oz of brisket with three eggs. I brought this to the attention of the cashier and he summoned the manager. The cashier and the manager turned their backs to us to discuss my concern. Next, the manager approached our booth to speak with me. I shared I was missing the brisket and I opened 3/4 of the omelet to view the 1/2 oz of meat. The manager said, “is there any brisket on the other portion?” the comment was off-putting because the other portion of the omelet was a quarter. I responded, “I need to prove to you there is an insignificant portion of brisket?” He shared that there is only a sprinkle of meat. My Husband responded, “there isn't even a sprinkle.” The manager attempted to grab my plate and I shared that wasn't nessecasry and that sending the brisket out would be fine for me. He threw his hands up and snarkily said, “WOW!” Five minutes later 1oz of brisket was sent. I decided preferred a refund. I requested a refund twice. Once from the waitress/bus person and again from the cashier. Both employees stated the manager would come to speak with me. The manager was bartending and came back and forth three times to top off mimosa for other customers. 12-15 minutes later he approached our booth. “How can I help you?” “I would like to receive a refund for my omelet.” The manager quickly stated, “No, I can't give you a refund, I tried to take the omelet and you wouldn't let me and I brought you more meat.” I asked to speak to the owner and the manager said, “No, she told me not to give you a refund.” My...
Read moreThis was the 2nd and final time I will ever set foot in this business. Several months ago, I stopped by around 1:55 PM, (their closing time is 2 PM) and I wanted to get a sandwich to go but I was told the kitchen is closed so I left empty handed. Today, I decided to give them another chance so I ordered online for a pickup time of 1:40 PM - 1:50 PM, thiking, the order will be ready when I walk in and all wil be good. Not so much.
I arrived at 1:39 PM and there were 3 people in line ahead of me. One person places their order. The second person picks up a to go order. The 3rd person starts to place her order at 1:42 PM at which point the employee at the counter informs her that they are closed and that she meant to cut off the line prior to the customer attempting to place the order. I could see the frustration of this customer so I let her know what happened to me and that it seems that this business just starts closing whenever they want. The customer left dissapointed and empty handed just like I did months ago. Come on, it was 1:42 PM and you're open until 2 PM according to all the signage and informaiton on the website. We're not done yet.
I stepped to the counter and announced that I was there to pick up my online order and gave my name. The counter employee goes to the back but comes out without my order and looks around as if she was looking to see if the person who picked up the to go order was still there. She expressed that she was sorry but could I wait a few minutes while my order is prepared. I asked what happened but I never got an answer. I have a feeling that my order was given to the guy who was two customers ahead of me. She offered me a free drink or bakery item for my trouble so I accepted the free drink. I could tell she was so stressed by what had happened and so was I as this was my 2nd bad experience at this place.
If a store or restaurant indicates their hours of operation, it should not tell customers they are closed when it's 18 minutes prior to closing time. I've never had this type of experience at any other restaurant or even a fast food establisment. You lose customers with this lack of customer service. You have...

Eat at this restaurant at your own risk. Going back and seeing reviews, several reviews back to April 2020 show the owner's lack of concern for his/her clientele. Numerous reviews on Yelp mention concerns regarding improper donning of masks, and grab and go silverware that is not individually wrapped. We witnessed both at this restaurant when we ate there on 11/7/2020. A woman with her mask below her nose came from the back, the kitchen area. Initially, the cashier had his mask on correctly, but later in to our meal, I noticed his nose was exposed. Some of the cleaning staff had their noses exposed as well. There are no barriers between booths, and people were sitting behind us. Additionally, we unfortunately sat near a high traffic area where people from the back inevitably had to walk by our table.
Now, the food. The food was good, decent, average. The german chocolate cake was absolutely delicious. Wait staff seemed nice. When we went, there weren't as many people in the restaurant. There was no wait. Overall experience at the time was fair.
However, the experience, the food, etc is not worth the price we may have to pay. We probably left with a little souvenir as my husband is immunocompromised and began to exhibit COVID-19 symptoms the next day or on Monday. I began to exhibit symptoms more in line with COVID-19 timelines. So I beg you, please reconsider eating here until the owner makes the appropriate changes to help reduce the spread of this virus. And if you can, please...
