This little taco stand has been in business for ever. Now I see why.. OMG!!! Best Fajitas I have had in over 20 years.. There used to be a place in Lewisville called Fajita Palace run by some friends of ours from Venezuela. They were in business for several years and returned home at last. I've never been able to find anyone who REALLY KNEW Fajitas like they did.. Until Today.. El Paisa really knows their food and they are also nicely inexpensive. The restaurant is a nicely unassuming place on Forest Ln just west of Marsh Ln on the north side of the road. One of the best indicators of the quality of this type of restaurant is who eats there.. I saw a collection of common, everyday people, and over half of them were Latino.. I only THOUGHT!!! I was going to have a take home meal since I was on the publics that day.. The food was so good I could not stop eating till my plate was clean.. I can't recommend El Paisa enough and want to go back ASAP. They are very well worth the money,...
Read moreThis is just my experience, and I, in no way, shape ,form, or fashion, am bashing nor attempting to deter people not to eat here. Hope that this is received as so.ethi g to improve on. I placed an order through Door Dash for a burrito and quesadilla. I thought that the quesadilla came with lettuce, tomatoes, etc, but my quesadilla only came with meat and cheese. I really love that they put the extra veggies on the quesadillas and all which left me dis appointed to find only meat and cheese. The burrito was made as described on the menu, however, if I can't receive the food that I paid for how I ordered it, we'll I will avoid ordering from this SPECIFIC restaurant when I want authentic Mexican food. I love the food that is made, and it is so delicious, but if I can't get exactly what I order, I have only a few other options and will resort to that. This is just my experience and explore different e at this place and will refer people to eat at El Paisa, just not this one....

Updated as requested by the owner: We walked in, it was a bit dark but that is ok, there were several servers and we were seated quickly. The table wasn't clean (think pandemic) and they had to clean it while we waited. After being seated, service was quick for drinks, but the drinks were not quick, and were terrible. The person who was making the margarita opened a bottle of beer and was drinking beer while they made my drink. We ordered two plates, neither of which came out correct. We just ate them, but that's when we discovered the food was terrible. We left most of it on our plates, tipped well (as the server was quick and attentive and because of the pandemic (filling water and leaving without asking any questions - that no questions could be better) but won't recommend this restaurant. I do return to places periodically and will update this if the...
