Taco Cabana — Restaurant in Dallas

Walked in, waited at the counter for probably a minute or more (felt much longer) before anyone came to the front counter. Nobody working behind the counter in the kitchen even acknowledged I was standing there. Finally a lady came up to the counter, she didn’t say a word. She just stood there looking at me. So I started the conversation by placing my order. I looked at her name tag, her name was Barbara, and she the manager. WOW! I’ve eaten my meal, food was fine though, so I’ll give them 3 stars. As I’m sitting here typing this, I hear someone yell out “anybody working the front?” I look up and now there are 5 individuals standing in line and there is nobody to take their orders. I’ve decided to change my rating to 2 stars only because I can’t really complain about the food. I’ll also add there was a very young lady sitting in the dining room, two tables over, doing employee interviews. When I realized they must not run the food out to the dining room anymore, I decided to ask this HR lady “do they bring out the food, or do they call out your number?” She replies with a confused look and says “I think you have to go get it?” So as I walked past her to get my food I mention “you have a manager that doesn’t great customers!” She response was just “I’m sorry.” She was also sitting out there when the other customers were yelling out “anybody working the front?” Something has got to...

I’ve been going to this taco cabana for as long as I can remember. I used to really enjoy their food but today it was awful. I got the Mexican Plate. The enchilada had what looked like to be a very small, thin piece of cheese in it, that was pressed so hard, it was flat and tasted like it was undercooked as far as the tortilla was concerned, The taco fell apart as I ate it, and it didn’t have a good taste at all. I’m afraid this will be the last time I go here. This is the second time in a row that I’ve not been too happy the meal. was almost $20 I did and two margaritas but I could’ve gone and sat down and had a really good meal for that somewhere else. The cheese Enchilada look and taste, like a was a piece of cheese and pressed it so hard, you couldn’t even tell what it was. the tortilla was flattened so hard that it tasted like wasn’t cooked well. i have never written a review but i have to this time the customer service her is so bad we went there this week for the first time first of all the person taking to order in the drive thru was rude his name Is José seemed to get mad because we handed him a big bill and didn't have change tried paying with the card and said he could take the card because he had already processed the payment under cash so he had to go to the safe he said. about 2 or 3 mins later a girl came up to the window and tried charging us again( poor communication) told her we had already gave the guy the money she said " your funny" (seriously). then the José guy finally came back with the change not until i got home we noticed he totally charged us the totally wrong order idk I think I was the car behind us we ordered 4 quesadillas he charged us almost $40 so I called the to speak to the manger no one picked up called corporate said they will contact the manger and have them call me back and I have yet to hear from them NEVER GOING BACK AT LEAST...
