I don’t leave a lot of reviews but this feels like we’re we’re getting pranked. We were sat at a perfectly reasonable table, but after about a minute they asked us to move. I’ve never been asked to move after being seated but no big deal. Unfortunately the new location of our table had an unpleasant smell. Sort of like feces or someone farting. I’ve worked in restaurants and know that sewer/plumbing issues happen. Not great, but I’m still not upset. Next we ordered a large queso and our drinks. There were 6 people in our party and they gave us two tiny bowls of chips. Again, still not a big deal. We asked for another basket and they bought us some. One of us ordered sweet tea and kept getting unsweet. She asked for them to replace it the first time, but after having unsweet tea poured in the cup multiple times she gave up. Then comes a shrill, earth shattering drilling sound rattling the walls and the floor, almost like someone above us was using a jack hammer. I couldn’t hear anyone at my table talk and we had to shout at each other as this noise continued for about twenty more minutes. This horrible metal grinding noise penetrated my skull for the remainder of our lunch and I still don’t know if someone was snaking a drain, or if it was a meat grinder, or what that noise was but it sounded like highway construction inside the building. They charged my brother $18 for “fajita enchiladas” that had ground beef in them and no fajita meat in sight, even after returning to the table after we ordered to re-clarify whether he wanted chicken or beef. My food wasn’t right either, but not to such an egregious extent. They completely forgot to ring up my other brothers food so he had to sit and watch us eat. He finally got his food when everyone else was leaving so he ended up just packaging it up to-go. We didn’t argue about the wrong check because we wanted to get away from the smell of poop and the bone rattling noises as quickly as possible. I definitely will never set foot near this place again. Keep in mind, we were one of only three tables at the restaurant, so it’s not like the staffs attention was spread very thin. The whole time it just felt like I was on a prank show or that they were trying to...
Read moreSunday we went here and upon entry there was a stinch in the doorway , we ignored the smell because this was one of our favorite places. We always come for the chicken fajita chimichanga platter and was never disappointed until our last visit. My guy was almost done with his chimichanga and I still had a good portion on my side , so as he's cutting into his half he says " this doesn't look like chicken and I agreed then I realized that it wasn't chicken. I don't eat beef so I was very digusted and disappointed when I found out it was beef. We called our waiter Mary over and she says she's new and blames it on the guy in the kitchen who told her it was chicken. Then Chris the manager comes out, we told him what we order and he was like " come on you know it was beef , you're almost done with it. Chris acted as if it was about the money or as if we wanted a free meal" first off fajita chicken and beef has a similar taste because it's fajita meat. So I said I would like to get what I ordered, he had this attitude when he walked of so we called him back to our table and told him that I no longer want anything from his kitchen, honestly I felt as if something gross would be done to my food just based off the energy he had when he left our table to have them make the food. So Chris was like he will give us a discount on the food. He came back to the table with our change and sat down to talk with my guy to make us feel comfortable with this service talking about the waiter Mary is new and has been messing up orders, in that case Mary should go back through training and then he insulted our intelligence by saying I gave you 50% off when it was about 20% . My guy was like you didn't give us 50% off the meal was a little over $18 then Chris said well I took the taxes off, when he adjusted the bill we paid a little over $12. Chris wasn't concerned with losing faithful customers, if he was that meal would have been a courtesy. And he expects us to continue to come spend money there, not a chance. That was the last time we spend money at this...
Read moreI typically do not write poor reviews, however, my experience at Enchilada’s tonight 3/20/2021 was horrific. I regularly frequent this restaurant, and always have a wonderful experience. The start of this evening was no exception. The food was good and our sever was amazing, but upon leaving the restaurant and getting into my vehicle, 2 male employees cornered my car from being able to leave, took down my license plate information, and accused my friend and I of not paying our tab because we left the building through the door closest to our car. I then let them know that I indeed paid our tab and proceeded to show the proof of payment. At this point I felt not only uncomfortable, but also unsafe, as we were still being cornered in.
There was no sign on the exit door that would lead us to believe it was an emergency exit only. The manager who cornered us at our car said that he will ensure our server is fired if they told us that we could leave through the unmarked exit door. There is no way for customers to know what doors they can and can’t exit through if they are not clearly marked. It is also incredibly unprofessional to threaten to fire your team members in front of patrons, especially if they have not done anything wrong. In fact, the only person who treated us with any respect this evening was our wonderful server who you threatened to terminate.
I am truly disappointed by the customer service provided by the management team at Enchilada’s tonight. Before you accuse paying customers of walking their tab and creating an embarrassing situation for everyone, please be certain. I can assure you that I will never pay another tab here again, as I will not...
