Alright, listen up. I just had a food experience so good it deserves to be shouted from the rooftops. Drop whatever you’re doing and get yourself to G’s Cheesesteaks because this place is the real deal.
I started with the Truffle Wiz Wit, and let me tell you—I was skeptical at first. Truffle can be hit or miss, but this? This was straight-up magic. I think I blacked out for a second from sheer flavor overload. The steak? Juicy. The cheese? Gooey perfection. The truffle? Just enough to elevate it without being overpowering. I’ve eaten a lot of cheesesteaks in my life, and this one? Easily top-tier.
Then, because I clearly have no self-control, I went for The Classic—but here’s the kicker: they serve it on a house-made seeded bun (pretzel vibes, but even better). It’s soft, slightly chewy, with the perfect touch of crunch from the sesame seeds. The kind of roll that makes you realize how much other places are slacking.
And because I was feeling extra, I had to try the Mac and Cheese Fried Bites—dangerously good. Crispy outside, creamy inside, little cheesy bombs of happiness. I could’ve eaten an entire bucket of them.
On top of the killer food, the dining area is awesome—spacious, with a cool vibe. There’s a neon sign glowing on the wall, dope record covers mixed with cool artwork, and even the bathroom is decked out. You can tell they put thought into the whole experience.
Long story short: G’s Cheesesteaks is already killing it. New spot, but they’re serving up cheesesteaks like they’ve been doing this forever. I’m already plotting my next visit. Do yourself a favor and check them out—you...
Read moreI went here for a cheesesteak but after learning that you had buy fries separately after paying $15-$17 just for a cheesesteak, I decided to get a smash burger since that at least came with a side of fries… I can’t speak on the Phillies but do NOT get the burgers. 😖 Flavorless, the cook left the fried onions off that were supposed to come on it, I added lettuce, tomato, & mushrooms & the cook also left off the tomato but handed it to me separately in a box to put it on myself…? 😂
The mushrooms were canned mushrooms for sure. They could’ve at least tried to cook them on the grill to give them some flavor instead of literally taking them from the can, gross. For how much they charge, they should be able to make a decent burger with real mushrooms. lol but anyway, the food was bland & basic - fries were nothing special as well. You’re better off going to In-N-Out for sure. At least everything there is made to order & really good portions for what you pay for. Definitely would not go back or recommend this place. Waste...
Read moreWhen I walked in the door I was greeted by every employee which was very welcoming. Jack, the owner took my order and he made it fun and easy. On top of that he cook our food. Be on the lookout for a new menu item called the "Bigg Back" sandwich sometime in the future lol just kidding (not really). Today I ordered the Cooper with mushrooms and bell peppers. It came out super fast. Blazing hot. Looked AMAZING !!!!!!
The first bite consumes your taste buds, the seeded bread is super soft. The meat was juicy and tender seasoned really good and everything complimented each other in one fantastic bite. To be honest, I don't eat cheesesteaks in Dallas because they're just not up to par after going to the Geno's on the East Coast. But I must say Jack has something special going on here.
In big back fashion I ordered a Chicken Cutlet to go. I'll update you on how that went but for right now I highly recommend that you...
