Went into herbs asked the cost of renting a conference room and was told by the initial person that she didnāt know. Then she said $40 per hour so I asked if we could get a multi hour discount to rent a room. The initial person said she didnāt know that she would have to ask the manager. So I asked if we could do half hours she said no. I asked if she could ask the manager. She then said that she didnāt know where the manager was. The manager walked behind her and I asked is that the manager the manager said yes why. I then asked if we could get a discount for multi hour rentals she said no. I then asked if we could rent the rooms by the half hour she said yes. So I asked her if we could get a free (1 free coffee) for the room rental if we rented it for 2 hours. She said no that man in a room she pointed 2 is paying $120. I said but Iām not him and Iām not rich. She said she wasnāt rich either. I rented the room and we went into the room. Pam the manager then walked all the way back to the conference room to tell me off. She then argued saying that I made her employee feel uncomfortable by asking those questions and that I shouldnāt have asked any questions. She then told me that she wouldnāt renew my use of the conference and told me to leave and she would give me a refund. She was very rude and belligerent simply because I asked for 1 free coffee or a multi hour discount. She also said that when I leave to not come back. Iāve rented the conference rooms here before many times and brought a lot of people with me for meetings. Iāve spent a lot of money here but wonāt be back. As a matter of fact Iām gonna tell everyone I know about my experience today. How is it confusing to ask someone working the front counter if there is a multi...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSometimes satisfaction LIES in simplicity. Or maybe simplicity sometimes provides TRUE satisfaction. Either wayā¦I love many Herbs (wink wink)ā¦but I also really liked Herbs House Coffee & Co.
This decent sized cafe is quite tucked away in a side street but after opening the doors you realize that youāve found a caffeinated oasis. The experience kicked off with a charming staff but the odd thing wasā¦.the first 3 items I orderedā¦they had run out of! Inconvenient? yesā¦but I also arrived late morning and there were plenty of patrons already sitting in the modern well appointed establishment enjoying what I could only hope to have.
I made my way to a seat and waited for a fresh batch brew of Herbs coffee and an omelette which I settled on. The coffeeā¦sheeesh. Freakin amazing! Some of the best Iāve had in a while. Abundant in flavor, strength and enough caffeine to get your toes curled on an early morning. The omelette was plainā¦but not bad plainā¦just simple. A thin light folded gathering of eggs topped with some cheese mix. A little salt a bit of pepper and I was satisfied. Sometimes simplicity works.
The best part was when I went to pay for my order after the slight inconvenience of being out of some itemsā¦I was awarded with complementary coffee. I meanā¦Damn good make your tongue twerk type complementary coffee! What more can you ask for?! Soo..Iād recommend it. Iād go again. So should you. Get there early. Theyāre pretty darn popular.
Real Reviews...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI absolutely love Herb's. I've been here several times now and it's the only coffee shop/Cafe that truly caters to the remote and co-working crowd.
It never gets as loud as a Starbucks or other coffee shops because most people are there to work... even at max capacity, any noise is minimal and manageable.
The staff is incredible. Fast, helpful, and really attentive. There's a lot of personalized service, regardless of whether you're a newbie or a regular.
From a work perspective, every table or seating area is set up with outlets and there's room to spread out. There's free wifi. I love the convenience of being able to drop in and work with no charge or package fees in the general seating area, and when I need a private room (multiple choices) I can pay by the hour for a meeting or dedicated space. The outdoor patio is also a great alternative.
The Cafe... great coffee and tea selection. The food selection is limited, but everything is made fresh and really, really good. I only go about once a week, but when I'm there, it's usually for most of the day and I'll end up grabbing something for breakfast and again for lunch... and I spend a lot less than I would at a Starbucks. It's a great option for meetings because you can take care of the space and food together.
There are so many things to love about Herb's, it's now my one and only go-to for...
