Short review: While everything seemed smooth in the beginning, the more time I spent in the apartment, the more little issues I began to notice, which added up in the end. In my opinion, it was very average, and I expected more quality of life for the price.
Long review: I booked an apartment for 2.5 months at this location. I had asked many questions prior to coming in and Kasa’s customer service would always respond in a timely and detailed fashion. The check-in process was also extremely simple and straightforward. The apartment itself is very spacious and there are plenty of items that come with it (pots and pans, laundry and dishwasher pods, iron, smart TV, etc). However, as time went by, I began to note various little problems within the apartment. This included: Rust on the sofa bed mattress (which was one of the reasons I chose this apartment). We had to bring an air mattress in for when my family would visit. Dust and lint everywhere. I would just be sitting on the couch and would stand up to my clothes covered in lint. Even the clothes I had hanging in the closet would develop lint. Bathroom sink did not have proper drainage and would flood up extremely quickly. Iron stopped working halfway through the stay. Extremely hard water in the shower. Very flimsy furniture. I understand that it is just a temporary rental place and don’t have many expectations, but the side table and towel rack would literally fall apart whenever I would place anything on them. Wi-Fi was very unstable; would be very fast some days and not work other days. As I was working from home two days of the week, this became very frustrating. Some accommodations were extremely outdated. The dryer would take a couple runs to actually get your clothes dry, and the Roku TV remote would require multiple clicks to work, and was extremely slow. Overall, you can tell that the place wasn’t deep cleaned. There were still small stains on some towels, the stove was very dirty, and dust was cluttered in corners. I’m not sure, but I think there might have been mold in the apartment, especially in the bathroom. There were other quips I had with the elevators and A/C, but I understand that this is more of a building complaint rather than a Kasa complaint.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this apartment, especially not for a long term basis. They advertise themselves as a cozy stay but it’s uncomfortable at best. Definitely not worth the...
Read moreI can understand why others would give this place 5 stars, however that has not been our experience. Upon arrival to the unit everything appeared clean but was also masked by a really strong cleaning product smell. Once the smell subsided we noticed a really foul smell and detected that it was coming from the area rug. The entire rug smells like it has been urinated on by several animals. We wrote into the customer service; and were told someone would come within 24 hours to clean the rug or remove it. The stench got to be unbearable, so we rolled the rug up and stuffed it in the laundry closet, and then we cleaned the floor. Even after cleaning it, we kneeled down and could tell the smell bled into the flooring. Someone came by (27 hours later), and he just mopped the floor and left. We asked if he would take the rug and he just said “someone will do it later” that’s cool. So we are just going to still here and smell stale urine for over $200/night? On a non-urine related note-the shower head is awful. We do appreciate the mattress, the coffee machine, and the overall decor. Just wish it didn’t smell...
Read moreI’m so glad I decided to make reservations with Kasa! Whenever I have to travel to Dallas, I will book with them from now on. I felt like I was at home. It was really nice and CLEAN! The bedroom closet was perfect and made all the difference in the world because I do NOT travel light. The full length mirror was an added plus as well. What topped the entire trip off was the fact that I didn’t have to do any laundry once we got home. There is nothing better than having a washer and dryer on your vacation so that your laundry is complete before the start of the new work week. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I’m a realtor back home so I comb through homes from top to bottom. If this place was on the market, it would receive over asking offers and would have potential buyers...
