Was in the mood for something different and out of the norm saw this place driving by in the neighborhood never noticed it. Checked the reviews and gave it a try. It was the best authentic Mexican that I have ever had. I had the chicken fajita plate with rice and beans my husband had a beef burrito. Both portions were large I could only eat half my plate. Enough jalapeno that it was hot without being overwhelming. I poured the red sauce all over everything. Down side was that they don't speak English and the menu is all in Spanish and you have to navigate by photos and the words you can recognize. I had cash since I read the reviews and was aware although yes somewhat inconvenient. Will be back though soon.

I've been here three times and had three amazing dishes. The cuisine here is what I would call "real Mexican"– it's not Tex-Mex, nor is it some chef's hip modern take on Mexican that's adapted for American palettes to the point that it loses its Mexican-ness. Instead, it's an honest plate that tastes like something you'd eat if you were in a Mexican home in Hidalgo. Note for my fellow Americanos: there's a picture menu above the register. Use that if you don't feel comfortable ordering in Spanish or you've been slacking on your Duolingo.

ONLY CASH. Translation: This food is fricken legit and amazing. Ordering can be a bit of a challenge sometimes if you aren't fluent in Spanish but if you're kind and try to use some Spanish they'll do the same with English. My girlfriend and I have a gone a few times and my Spanish vocabulary is growing with each visit! I 100% recommend this place to anyone craving Mexican food , this is not Tex-Mex by any means!

So i see some negative reviews on this place. Im going to start with "Authentic Mexican" food. If you can not read the menu because its in spanish, you have to know its good.

Authentic mexican good can and most likely WILL be spicy. Its part of thier culture and there are even stories that go back to some of the mayan gods on why (a good read).

The sauces in the pictures red is very hot, green is mild to warm. The tortillas/taco shells are hand made. The food is very cheap. The plates range from 9-14 dollars for a full sized typical mexican resturaunt style plate. (Rice, beans, main dish) and a drink.

It is cash only. Inconvienant at the most but there are ATMs everywhere and its a mom and pop style resturuant. It was also very clean when we went. Not the kind of place you will get montezumas revenge (food poisoning).

This was my go-to this time in dallas. I ate dinner here 2-3 nights of my trip. If you dont like spicy stay away from chicken tinga or the red sauces and you should be fine. If not ask. If you arnt sure whats what. Google is your friend, there is also a...

The food here is pretty good. However, the atmosphere and service needs some work. The girl working did as good as a job as she could, but she was the only one here. It’s not her fault that she was shorthanded.

Additionally, they only take cash. For whatever reason, they do not take credit cards at all. Pretty inconvenient these days.

The place is not very clean or tidy. The seats for the booths were dirty, and have seat covers that look like they were bought secondhand at a garage sale!

Overall, the experience was OK, but the ownership ought to consider putting a little more...
