It has been my experience when you find an eatery located in an office complex, it's gonna be some good and tasty food! Marie's Kitchen is no exception. This place is everything I thought it would be. The price is competitive with other restaurants in the area. I would say they are actually less expensive. Being a "MOM n POP" establishment also makes it great! Momma's always gonna make sure her "kids" are fed properly! Run by a Filipino Family, they offer traditional Filipino dishes as well as nice selection of American fare. I didn't go international this trip cuz I was with my Dad but the Siopao looked really yummy. Instead, I went with the Chicken and Sundried Tomato Panini and my Dad had the Taco Salad. When you see the pictures, you will know these items tasted good! I bit into the panini and it practically melted in my mouth! Every bite was filled with tender grilled chicken and sundried tomatos, mozzarella, and a pesto sauce. You have your choice of side salad, chips, or french fries...hello fries! It just seemed appropriate to have fries. There was so much on the plate I had gk get a to-go container. The Taco Salad is HUGE! My Dad couldn't finish it all so also taken to-go! He said it was very good for a place that does not look like it should be served there (office building)! If you're wondering about #TheCrud (#Covid19) precautions, they have mask and gloves on and there is a giant bottle of hand sanitizer before you get to the counter. There is no open food...everything is pre-packaged in and out of the drink cooler. I suspect they were ready for this long before the pandemic started! You can sit and eat like we did or you can get it to-go. Take out is the norm because it only has a few tables anyway. If you didn't know about Marie's Kitchen, now ya do! Go try this hidden gem! There will be no...
Read moreStopping by Marie's in Dallas turned out to be a wonderful decision during my work trip. Nestled in a nondescript office building, this quaint eatery is truly a hidden gem. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and kindness by a gentleman who took my order with a smile, setting a positive tone for my visit.
After checking Yelp for recommendations, I opted for their much-praised Ube pancakes along with a coffee. The pancakes lived up to the hype, offering a unique and delightful flavor that was a pleasant departure from the usual breakfast fare. The coffee was just as satisfying, providing the perfect complement to the sweet, flavorful pancakes.
Observing the staff behind the counter was an added treat. They worked seamlessly in a professional duo, efficiently preparing and managing multiple takeout orders with ease. This level of dedication and efficiency contributed greatly to the overall positive experience.
Overall, my breakfast at Marie's was not only delicious but also provided great value. It's a neat little spot that I would recommend to anyone looking for a unique and tasty meal in a casual,...

We were not expecting to like this gem on Greenville Avenue, though we’ve heard of it but haven’t had an opportunity to try it until today.
We originally came to try the Ube Pancakes but were treated to the Sunday special, Batchoy! It also came with Fried Siomai, although the perfect pairing would have been siopao, ijs. We also ordered the Lechon Kawali-Silog (usually a fave and of course we had to compare with the other Filipino restaurants nearby), Ube Pancakes (this one is a must, even when you decided that you were starting your diet LOL), and lastly the Halo halo (looks easy enough to assemble, but not all are equally good). Their Halo halo version received a 2 thumbs up from our expert in everything sweet and ubiquitously Pinoy.
Thank you for bringing more Pinoy flavors to Dallas. Will definitely be back for more. Please expand so we can actually have a party
Some cons: for large groups, be prepared to be separated into 4s 😆, total seating is 24. The place is super cold, so...
