The one star reflects their current loyalty program. The product is great and is the only thing that keeps me coming back. I did not find out about their loyalty program until the lady preparing the paletas also rung me up and mentioned it to me. After signing up I received my points and went on about my day. On my next visit, when I was getting ready to pay at the register not once did the guy at the counter mention loyalty program to me. When I mentioned it to him he seemed annoyed. The guy's response was that his brother set it up and he has no idea as to how it operates. I asked for the owner and he responded that he was one of the owners. Now if the owner himself does not know how the loyalty program operates and does not care about learning it...how can he enforce it upon his employees or even train them? Besides letting customers know about it instead of trying to hide it. First of all, if your coming here to try the waffle popsicle, be prepared to get a rain check on it. The first time my boyfriend brought me 20 min before closing and the waffle machine was off. The second time, last week, they weren’t serving them and today the guy can’t even work the machine. “Yeah, try back maybe next week.. the machine just isn’t cooperating.” Is it the machine or is it the operator? This is literally the only part of your job that you cook something or do anything other than opening a plastic bag and adding toppings to a popsicle. Why advertise something you can’t serve? Such a disappointment. First drove to Dallas/ Deep Elm location and they were close, came to this location and was excited to try them, Brenda took my order and as I was waiting for my waffle pop my son wanted another pop, the other girl at the front told me they were out of mix to make my waffle one. I waited for 20 mins, and if I wasn't the one to get up to order more, I wouldn't have known. Literally didn't get anything else offered or an apology. I asked if I was going to get a refund, and the girl just said you'll have to wait until Brenda comes back. You can't get my order right and you can't give me my money back?
