I went here once roughly three years ago and had such a terrible experience that I vowed never to return.
To provide some context, I’ve worked in the service industry for over 10 years. I understand how bar service operates, including in fast-paced, high-volume establishments, as well as in fine dining. What I experienced here is something that no one at any bar I’ve worked at—or any decent bartender or manager—would ever do.
I ordered an espresso martini. This was a few years ago, around the time they were becoming more popular, but I ordered it without looking at a menu, assuming that an experienced bartender would know what I meant. Even before their rise in popularity, an espresso martini was a common cocktail that any competent bartender would know how to make.
What I received, however, was a mint-flavored drink—completely different from what I ordered. The bartender explained that this was because they had a mint espresso martini on their menu. I clarified that I didn’t order the version from their menu; I ordered a standard espresso martini. Despite this, they refused to remake the drink and insisted I pay for it, even though it was not what I had ordered.
I was baffled. I don’t know of a single other bar in Dallas that would make a customer pay for a drink they didn’t order. I spoke to the manager, hoping for a resolution, but they confirmed that I would indeed have to pay for the incorrect drink.
As someone who has worked in bars, I was extremely courteous when addressing the issue, but I was flabbergasted by their response.
This was unforgivably rude customer service—even for a casual, fast-paced, high-volume establishment. With all my restaurant and bar experience, I simply can’t fathom making a customer pay for something they...

Service is a JOKE.
I see the bartenders are busy, I get it. I also know they can making eye contact and say, "Hi! I'll be with you in a minute."
That's service.
I was standing at the bar w a glass in my hand. No one else was waiting for a drink and when I spoke up to get bartender's attention, it was as if I was interupting her. I was literally the only person waiting... you don't want my money? Okay....I'll have a beer.
How can a bar that small be three people deep at the bar?
My friend ordered a burger that was supposed to come with aoli sauce. They still made the burger, butade a dry burger without the sauce and didn't tell her. She had to ask for it....and was told, "We're out of aoli." (Aoli... Literally mayonnaise, olive oil, and garlic) The bartender didn't offer an alternative. My friend had to request mayonnaise for her dry burger.
There's was NO barback, NO server. Which I know would help the bartender's.
Tried to pay my bill (the band was over, people had emptied out, and there's a mirror at the register, I was standing behind the bartender) who was having a full giggle fest with a friend - I AGAIN, I had to get their attention. Jesus.
For the cost of drinks here...plus the music fee, the experience is awful. I'm exhausted giving them chance after chance to make it better....it won't get better, they've been around and people except this level of service. Which is a shame.
At least the bathrooms are clean and have good lighting?
*Pay attention to your tab and tip on food and drinks only. $5 is added "for the music performances" which I doubt the bar is handing over, considering all the bands are begging for money...
Read moreI really want to give this place 5 stars and it started out that way when we first sat down with our lovely bartender who first served us. She was friendly, fun and inviting. Things went south as soon as two other bartenders showed up and acted as though we were a bother and loathsome. I’m not sure how someone in the service industry expects to be treated in turn but I know that if you treat my wife in particular nicely and give her good to excellent service, she will reward that service beyond your expectations. She worked in the industry in many capacities and still has the connections to make or break someone’s career. So always, always be careful as to how you treat your customers…..and when I ask why you are throwing attitude at me, I am asking for a reason. I promise it was a hint. Our bill was $80 and she still left the other bartender a $100 tip. Why? Because that is who she is and she would have done the same for you. I sure hope you didn’t reap any of that reward, because your service and treatment on your customers was despicable. You have no business dealing with the general public. This place has plenty of potential and as stated previously, we were having plenty of fun until these two bartenders arrived and made it beyond uncomfortable and awkward for us. Unfortunate situation for all because we got up and left and took our...
