We absolutely love Rico’s Paleteria and go at least once or twice a week! My son is obsessed with the Dubai chocolate strawberries, he’s picky about chocolate, and he loves that they use milk chocolate instead of dark like some other spots. My daughter always chooses either the Nutella crepe or a scoop of mango ice cream both are always fresh and delicious. As for me, I’m hooked on their aguas frescas especially the pepino, limón, and melón. Super refreshing and just the right amount of sweetness. The staff is always warm and welcoming. Alexandra always greets us with a smile, and there’s another sweet lady who’s always there and just as kind. It really feels like a neighborhood gem, great people and amazing treats, all right here in Oak Cliff close to home. Highly recommend stopping by if you haven’t yet! you’ll want to keep coming back like we do!

Ordered the elote chorriado & was pretty disappointed since it looked so good in the pictures but it was the most bland elote I've ever had. Plus, why would they put parmesan cheese on an elote? (The cheese chunks in my pic I added at home as well as more Seasonings & chile) oh & the hot chetos were stale since they took about 10 or 15 minutes to make the order & they had the elote ready first. Also ordered a crepe which was okay & an Agua de melon which was the best thing from the order. May or may not go back to give it a 2nd chance since the place seemed in order & they did have plenty of different ice cream options. Now that I think about it, no wonder the elote line was so long right outside the Rancho that's next door 🤔

First off I just need to say the vibes of this place make me feel young at heart. So many choices to satisfy cravings. This place makes firework shows for your tastebuds. My girlfriend and I found it on social media and gave it a whirl. We went for a second time today and maybe a third tomorrow. We loved their Elote with hot Cheetos, the Mangoghetti is bomb, both mangonada versions I had were explosive and but now I’m zeroed in on their ice creams and Paletas. All hand and scratch made. They have a bunch of flavors that I’m going to need to try. This place gives me major FOMO cause I don’t want to miss anything delicious! The service is great too and they keep the vibe as it should be. Well run place!

This is the second and last time I go here. Both times I’ve gone place is dirty. Sticky floors and sticky tables. Napkins and wrappers on the floor. I understand the place gets buys that does not mean place should be dirty. Prices are overpriced for the amount you get. I do not recommend! Go to La China poblana on Jefferson instead prices are reasonable and sizes are great. The only reason we even went to Ricos is cause our fav place was closed already. Not to mention I paid $8 dollars for a “large licuado de plátano” and I got a 3/4 filled cup…. Does it sound like a large to you and not to mention it was not even cold cold. The cup might be large but what about the amount? Will for sure not be going back.

No recomiendo este lugar. Es la segunda vez que vamos y no regrésare! Los precios son muy caros para la cantidad y calidad que recibes. Aparte el lugar está sucio el pisos y las mesas chorreadas. Mejor vayan a la China Poblana de...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rico’s Paleteria is the ultimate ice cream & taco spot a true hidden gem!

I stopped by expecting a quick bite, but ended up blown away by the whole experience. The tacos were absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. And the ice cream? Next level. So many unique flavors, super creamy, and made with real ingredients that hit the spot, especially on a hot day.

But what really made my visit unforgettable was the amazing service from David. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. You can tell he really cares about the customers and takes pride in what he does. It’s rare to find someone who brings that kind of energy and passion to their work David is a true gem!

Whether you’re coming for the tacos, the paletas, or just a good vibe, Rico’s Paleteria is the place to be. Trust me one visit and you’ll be hooked....
