Absolutely the Best! A Must-Try Experience at S&J Hot Chick!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! S&J Hot Chick is hands-down the BEST spot I’ve ever visited for hot chicken, and honestly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Everything—from the food to the service to the atmosphere—is on another level.

First, the food: 🔥 The chicken is perfectly cooked: juicy inside, ultra-crispy outside, with heat levels that let you choose your adventure. I tried their signature hot level and it was that ideal balance of fiery and flavorful without sacrificing taste. Every bite explodes with spices and that deep, savory marinated richness you can only get from real-deal Nashville-style chicken.

🍗 I had the sandwich, which is massive and overflowing with perfectly sauced chicken, fresh pickles, and a soft, buttery bun that holds it all together. I also got the tenders, which were unbelievably tender (no pun intended) and had that same magical crunch.

🍟 Don’t even get me started on the fries—seasoned beautifully, golden, and crispy to perfection. They could be a meal on their own.

🔥 Their sides and sauces are incredible too. The house sauce is addictive. I literally wiped it clean.

Second, the service: ⭐️ Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. You can tell they care about what they do and making you happy. The staff took time to explain the menu, asked how we liked the food, and genuinely made us feel at home.

Third, the atmosphere: ✅ Clean, inviting, and casual but stylish. It’s the perfect vibe to hang out with friends, grab a casual date meal, or even do takeout. They really nailed the branding and vibe—modern but with that Southern hospitality charm.

The food was just meh.. we ordered the original sandwich which was good... prob my favorite from what we ordered. We also ordered the chicken strips but didn't have much taste just the dry rub spice. the chicken wasn't even crispy and just came off the chicken. We also ordered garlic parm fries for side but they didn't taste like garlic just the parm cheese nothing special about those. We ordered the sj special the ranch is way to overpowering you get tired of it fast. I wish the mac and cheese actually tasted like cheese it didn't really have a cheesy taste (I missed the sharp cheese taste) and what we mostly didnt like was the banana pudding! It was literally just; cream cheese, heavy cream and condensed milk whipped no pudding whatsoever, with 1 slice of banana and vanilla cookies. for the price I def thought it would be bigger, it was it was a tiny container smaller than the palm of my hand and about an inch tall for 6$I def expect better I would not go back. Also, I forgot to mention we ordered kool-aid idk what tasted weird if it was the kool-aid itself or the ice just I couldn't even drink it it was gross and...

I stopped by to try for the first time. Ok sandwich. Place is clean, people are nice and friendly. Ordered the classic sandwich medium spice. With garlic parmesan fries the total was 15 bucks and change. A bit rich for my blood, but still, don't mind paying for quality and delicious food.

The fries are standard crinkle cut fries. The issue with these fries are the fact that all of the seasonings seemed to bounce off and collect at the bottom of the container. Most of the fries were mild in flavor and i felt they were not salted. Plenty of fries if that is your thing.

The sandwich is big. Looks awesome. Brioche bun and not greasy on the chicken. I got the chcken plain and dry, but apparently it comes with sauce, slaw and pickles. Cheese is an extra dollar. However, the taste was a bit underwhelming. I didn't taste much in terms of seasoning and it tasted a bit bland. There was some heat on chicken, but that was it.

Overall just average. Great portions, food looks great, staff is friendly, but the food lacked flavor and was very expensive. Probably...
