I haven't been to Silver City in almost 7-8 years. I decided to stop by for some "fine dining" and entertainment. The waitress I was introduced to was very accommodating and polite. She is the only positive experience of this "Rick's Cabaret" franchise.
I was debating on what to eat and drink and was unsure if I wanted wine by the glass or bottle. I decided on a $7.95 glass of Pinot Grigio but 5 minutes later was told it was not available. Then I decided on the $60 bottle of Pinot Grigio (different brand). 10 minutes later I was told that was not available.
During the drink debacle I had ordered their southwest egg roles as an appetizer. By the time those arrived I had finally received your standard Chardonnay from behind the bar. As I am about to enjoy my appetizers I was met with disappointment upon my first bite.
They were cooked on the outside and cold in the middle. Letting me know that these are your standard froze gas station egg rolls. I sent them back.
Now I ordered the stuffed jalapeño skins. By the time they arrived I was half way thru my first glass of Chardonnay and crawling with hunger; for I slept all day and had not eaten. And I was introduced to disappointment #5.
As you can see from the BBQ jalapeño skins they were doused in BBQ sauce. I mean can I get some poppers with this BBQ sauce. The plus side is... they were hot and cooked but the porker felt like stringed cheese. Is there such thing as imitation pork?
Sad to say... I had one and I was done.
As far as the entertainment provided I wasn't to impressed with the lineup on a Friday night and was approached by a very drunk Asian and 2 Cuban women who didn't even introduce themselves and just went for the "Do you want a dance" 🤦🏽♂️! Not to mention the entertainers you want are the ones sitting at tables by themselves and looking into their phones as I type this. Guess they feel they should be approached or probably setting up there after work money.
Overall, I know this is a gentleman's club. But I've been to worse with better food. And I have been to equal if not better establishments owned by the same company with a far better food selection. It's just sad that a club and a fast food restaurant have so much in common. The only plus was the extremely prompt service given by Karli! Thank you!
Guess I will wait another 8 years to return. That's if Rick hasn't sold it by then!

Read moreWent to Silver on New Years Eve and we got there before 10 and stayed until after midnight to bring in the new year. The ONLY positive thing about the experience were because of 3 girls, Mela, Japan, and Nala. Those are the only girls that approached us! Me and my husband have been away from the Metroplex for years but when we were here we have visited Silver many times but that night was something I have never encountered in such a club.......THE GIRLS DID NOT APPROACH ANY CUSTOMERS TO ENCOURAGE THEM TO BUY DANCES, OR TO ENCOURAGE THEM TO STAY AND BUY DRINKS FROM THE BAR!!!! Why are the girls sitting in groups at tables together, on their phones, and not engaging with the customers? Why is the DJ only calling up the just 4 girls onto the stage to dance? And 2 of those girls were the ones who were at our table, with customers, entertaining us, keeping us company, helping us have fun, while at least 8 others girls sat with their faces planted in their phones. Since when do the girls at clubs just sit there and expect the customers to come to them? Why is the DJ only calling 4 girls onto the stage? Why are those other girls being allowed to sit on their asses and letting customers sit lonely at the bar, or at tables and not keeping them active in talking to girls or buying alcohol/ food?
I think some changes need to be made in how things are currently ran and you could make more money, but from what I saw that night thousands of dollars walked out that door because the dancers only walked in the door, greeted each other, and then decide which group of girls they were going to sit with.
Also........the girls I mentioned above told me they were the daytime dancers and that the girls sitting on their asses (MAJOR NO NO ON THIS TYPE OF BUSINESS) were the nighttime dancers. Well if that is the case then you should switch out the daytime girls for the nighttime girls. If the NT girls don't want to get to work then let them work days and have less opportunities for customers than nights where there are more customers. Let the daytime girls, who it seemed were the only ones being called to actually DANCE at a place of business that has actual stages for the girls to get on and DANCE!
Poor, poor job management and the owners probably need to do an evaluation of your performance and the loss of money that they could be making if not for the lazy girls who showed no interest in being there doing their jobs of keeping the customers entertained and...
