After ordering online and receiving the complete wrong order, I called the store to ask about getting my purchase refunded. After calling 4 times to no avail, an employee finally answered and told me that while she was unable to refund it, if I called back in a bit a manager would be there who could refund it. A few hours later I did just that, and a different employee answered my call. He told me that while he was unable to refund it, if I called back the next morning a manager would be there who could do the refund. This time, I double checked with the employee asking “if I call tomorrow there will be someone who can refund me?”, to which he confirmed with me. This morning I called and an employee answered, and she let me know that they actually cannot refund over the phone and I would have to come in. Why is this the first time I am hearing about this? If I had been told this the first or even second time I called I would have been able to come in to get a refund, but I am going out of town and now am unable to come in person, a problem that could have been completely prevented.
Now I am annoyed as I have lost that money, but even more so at the time wasted calling and being strung along. Not to mention the product I received was nowhere near the amount of product pictured on the menu, which was disappointing regardless of if I received the correct order or not.
I have never posted a negative review, but never in my life have I had such a hard time getting a refund (and never has a business not been able to issue a refund remotely - especially when the order was placed remotely in the first place). I would recommend avoiding Smoothie King locations because of this, or if not, be cognizant to check your order before you leave, otherwise you will not get your money back.

Read moreWhen I ordered my drinks , the girl taking my order was clear in understanding what I wanted . That was a good start. However, when I got to the window as she asked for my card, speaking to other employees while still at the window she said, " what's wrong with people, we are trying to get out of here." As another car pulled up I heard more complaints about how we the customers are an inconvience. While I still haven't received my order I saw the guy inside fall and get back up with a wet shirt and the blender vase in his hand. So of course I hope he was okay but that also made me very paranoid regarding if I got shake from the ground since they were so in a rush .I bought 3 banana strawberry smoothies, one was lean with a prenatal vitamin added and the other two regular. I got full shakes within a minute or two after the guy fell. All of the shakes looked the same that then may me wonder if got the same mixture of everything. I paid for a prenatal vitamin to be added and I don't know that it was. I did here them saying she saw you, when the guy fell of course they don't care about my order, they are clearly trying to go home. I will not be going to this location anymore and it's really the only one close to me .I should feel healthy and happy about a smoothie choice. Read moreI have given them a shot at redemption 5 times now over the last month but today was the last time I give this location any of my money. They have a hateful attitude at the order window and pickup window. They have given me a vanilla hulk when I ordered a strawberry hulk and then just added strawberries to it so I had a vanilla hulk w/ strawberry. They have given plastic every time when I repeat it twice that I’d like styrofoam. Today I order a power punch + and wait five cars to get to the window to discover that they gave my smoothie to the car in front of me. No big deal, they ask if I could pull to the side while they make it and bring it to me. 15 minutes later they’ve cleared 10 cars through the drive through so I pull around and ask what’s up. She said they had it and she was getting around to bringing it to me. What I got was a watered down thing that tasted nothing like a power punch plus. I’ve made hundreds as I worked at SK throughout college, it’s a busy job but it’s not that hard to do. There is a smoothie king just a couple minutes south at Mockingbird that does well for anyone looking for a new spot.
