It was a decent, clean environment. We believe the owner greeted us, had sunglasses on but wasn't sure if that was medical or not.
We ordered at a kiosk. Menu was simple, easy to read and came with photos. They don't have unlimited beverages but so have bottled or canned drinks. Their dumplings, Cali roll were off the chain. The pork belly lacked flavor in the meat. The rest of the seasoning made up for it. The sesame chicken was slightly dry, but still good.
One issue we ran into was there was a hair in the Cali roll. We caught it right away, before opening the box. They threw it away in front of us and made a fresh one and did apologize profusely.
There was one point multiple people arrived, are und 7, and stepped into the back area.they seemed to be family but it was a bit concerning that so many people were back there, after catching hair in the food.
We love to cater to family owned businesses, but do want to ensure safety protocol is being followed.
Post eating 4 hours ago, no stomach issues or anything. Again, seems like a regular place, just a couple...
Read moreOn god all these reviews cap. Its okay, but not a 5/5. Basically for $10 you get a biggish bowl of rice, meat and veggies. Only odd part is that the majority is meat, then rice and only thr tiniest amount of veggies. Of all itnis drenched in a rather synthetic tasting, generic teriyaki sauce that likely came in a 5 gallon jug from sysco.
Overall, eh. It is basic sustenance, with an asian theme. I also greatly enjoy their generous spelling of the word "vegetable" on the wall, as "veggitable". They spelled it almost phoenetically as a person with an asian accent would say it. Guy who made the wallpaper didnt say a peep either (he just works there). Can't unsee that. Flooring is super ugly. They put down some gray epoxy crud and smeared aome white paint on that. Literally would be better as bare polished concrete.
Economy ain't getting better in usa, so I think most have accepted that, hence the...
Read moreA friend pointed out a restaurant that neither of us had tried called Unbelievabowl. Interesting name and, as we discovered, a good value for the money. Everyone ordering an entrée here will part with a sawbuck but my gosh, you get a lot of food! I ordered the Beef and Teriyaki Chicken bowl with fried rice($2 extra) and could only get through half of it before tapping out. That's okay because my entrée came with a resealable lid that makes take-out a snap. My friend had Sesame Chicken and he couldn't finish his portion either. It must have been about 2 lbs. of rice, cabbage and vegetables not including the meat, of which they were generous with to a fault. The place is impeccably clean and they had some delightful music playing softly which added to the experience. You could pay the same amount at Panda Express and get way less food for what they give at Unbelievabowl. Try it for yourself but...
