There is a VERY RUDE black lady about 18 years old who works afternoon to evening shift at the front counter cash register in the lobby area. The very first time I even had an encounter with her to take my food order, I noticed how she was very nice to some customers and had an attitude of indifference towards others. The first time she was about to serve me, she just gave me a nasty look and did not even say anything like, "good evening" or "how are you today" or any other greeting. I did not even speak to her just yet, but knew right away she was not going to go the extra mile to give good service. When I came back about 2 months later, she was there behind the counter again. She remembered me from that first encounter. She thinks that I am being racist, but the truth is that I don't want her to serve me because of her terrible attitude of indifference. I asked for the manager on duty, who then came up to the counter to take my order. This rude black lady kept saying things out loud like, "YOU'RE BEING RACIAL", "YOU DON'T LIKE ME, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND DON'T COME BACK", and "JUST GO THROUGH THE DRIVE THRU SO I DON'T HAVE TO SEE YOU." I explained to the nice manager who was willing to take my order that this black lady had a bad attitude which is why I did not want her to take my order. The rude black lady kept talking out loud and said "GET OUT OF HERE" "YOURE BEING RACIAL". She also gave me the middle finger gesture. I will submit my recommendation that she get terminated, and by the way, she is not a manager. The Hispanic manager on duty WAS right there while this rude black lady cashier was saying these very rude things to me. This manager should have written this cashier up or terminated her right on the spot, but DID NOT DO EITHER ONE. IN FACT SHE JUST LET THIS UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR HAPPEN, AND LET THIS CASHIER GET AWAY WITH IT!!!! Even managers are forbidden to talk to customers like she did to me. I have reported this to the corporate office, and some heads are about...
Read moreI've been coming to this location for years now. It's an above-average Whataburger with a few quirks: the day crew and night crew are very different.
The day crew is inconsistent: the food is sometimes amazing and sometimes sub-par. Unremarkable but it generally holds to Whataburger standards.
The night crew is something different however. The food is generally amazing from the hours of 11pm to 7am, and I believe most of this to be because of the manager that's almost always working during this time. Her name is Eloisa and she makes the experience better every time I visit.
Eloisa is a sweetheart and delivers excellent customer service. She always ensures I have a smooth experience and provides amazing solutions to potential problems one might have when coming here. Even today... I asked for an extra hashbrown to make up for money I lost when the day crew previously forgot to give me part of my order... and she gave it to me... because I'm a consistent customer that doesn't usually make those kind of requests. That's the kind of service that deserves merit and recognition.
My love for this location mostly comes from Eloisa and without her it wouldn't be the same. I've been eating breakfast burgers from here for a year straight and I'm addicted to them because under her management they come out better than any other location almost every single time. Considering I eat here 2-4 times a week... that's really saying something.
All in all? A good location to visit during the day, and one of the best in Texas to visit during the night. I'll keep coming here as long as I know...
Read moreIt is 12 AM and I just left Whataburger after paying $62 in food in 11degrees. When I reached home, I realize that I was missing two cinnamon rolls and had to drive 2 miles back in the cold and when I did, I asked the girl nicely can I please have a large drink for my inconvenience with an attitude she responded you have to pay for it and I said why you made the mistake by not putting my two cinnamon rolls it is not my job to check the bag before I leave and it’s obviously stated on the receipt that I ordered the two cinnamon rolls and she said you still have to pay for it and gave me attitude. I asked her for the manager another person came up to me which wasn’t the manager. and also said I had to pay for it with attitude. Finally the manager came and said no she’d be happy to give me a large drink and she told the first girl it was OK why is it this hard to ask for a large drink when they made the mistake the attitude and Customer Service is so poor that girl that serve me at the window should be actually cooking and not dealing with customers. Customer Service is horrible attitude. I don’t understand why they don’t think that they have the right to treat customers this way. I will never return to this particular, Whataburger and I will make sure to let...
