I’m writing to express ongoing frustration and disappointment with the consistent lack of quality and care at your Inwood Sonic Drive-In. For the third+ time, I ordered the same meal I always do: the #1 Smash Burger combo with NO onions or pickles due to allergies, a side of fries, and an Ocean Water. Yet again, the service and execution were unacceptable on multiple levels: • Upon arrival, no one responded at the call box, despite multiple attempts. I had to drive up to the window, which was wide open, to finally speak with someone and place my order. • I paid via phone tap, and no receipt was included in my bag. • Most concerning: onions and pickles were on the burger, despite my very clear request and medical need. • Even worse: there was a metal piece found in my French fries, presenting a serious health and safety hazard. • When I called to speak with a manager, the individual who answered was dismissive and argumentative, falsely claiming I never requested no onions or pickles and insisting he made the order himself and saw “nothing wrong” with the fries. This entire interaction was unacceptable, both from a customer service standpoint and a food safety one. I’m extremely disappointed that something as basic as honoring dietary restrictions and ensuring safe food continues to be mishandled. Though to end the conversation, he stated he would replace the order, which is an inconvenience as I am at work and placed this order heading into work. No, I am stuck without eating until lunch due to no food outlets in the area I am in. I don’t even want the replaced order any longer. Additionally, no Peppermint to be found in my bag. I’ve attached a photo for reference and ask that this matter be escalated to upper management immediately. I’d also like to be contacted to ensure this is properly addressed, not only for me but for the safety of other customers.

The Most Disastrous Experience at Sonic Drive-In I’ve Ever Had! It began with a frustrating episode of waiting for assistance after pushing the red button. Despite the supposed convenience of this feature, it proved to be an exercise in patience as I found myself waiting for a whopping 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged my presence. It was disheartening to witness the lack of urgency and disregard for customers who eagerly anticipated their orders. To my utter disbelief, after enduring the lengthy wait, the staff completely skipped me and proceeded to take someone else’s order. The feeling of being overlooked and ignored was truly disheartening, as though my time and presence held no significance. It was an astonishing display of carelessness and incompetence on the part of the Sonic Drive-In team. The frustration grew as I realized that their disregard extended beyond just my experience; it seemed that they did not care about the individuals waiting in the stalls area, who were all left hanging in a state of perpetual hunger. Sonic Drive-In’s failure to address the basic needs of their customers, such as timely service and acknowledging their presence, is simply unacceptable. It is disheartening to see a brand that prides itself on convenience and efficiency fall so short in delivering a positive experience. As a result, I find it difficult to recommend Sonic Drive-In to anyone seeking a hassle-free dining experience. It is my sincere hope that they take immediate action to rectify these glaring issues and regain the trust of their customer base.

The lack of effort from employees these days is becoming ridiculous and the oversight of the management is just as bad. When I ask for my burger to have mustard only, (sauce wise),with jalapeños and extra jalapeños why would you put ketchup on it and a total of 5 jalapeños. When I order double jalapeños I shouldn’t be able to take a bit without jalapeños in it. I should not bite into it and taste ketchup, which I hate, when I ask for mustard only. No one takes pride in there jobs anymore. And these companies have become so big that they can do whatever to their customers and know that other people will still go there and even worse, defend their practices with excuses for why they do what they do. It’s absolutely insane. So this an updated message. Never go to this sonic ever. I gave them a second chance because my fiancé wanted sonic. I ordered the number 2 with double jalapeño NO Mayo NO mustard and no tomato. The screen as we ordered even said ask the things correctly. I left my first picture up and I am adding the second failure on there part. It’s the burger with TOAST, MAYO, NO MUSTARD AT ALL AND TOMATOES AND AN AMAZINGLY SMALL AMOUNT OF JALAPEÑO. Is it really that hard to read the screen and put the ingredients that the screen in front of you says. I’ve been in the restaurant industry my whole life and am amazed at how much this place screws up. I would give 0 stars if I could.
