Some people have children, some people have pets, or both but something about our car falls into that same category. Why? Well, our car takes good care of us, therefore, we should do the same. She can speak, she has her own language. She lights up, she stops when necessary or she will make a sound out of the ordinary. You have to get to know her as she already knows you. So during times of despair and she needs assistance there is a place that reminds you of a hospital. Planet Dallas Love Field FORD. I rush Black Diamond to the emergency for help. That's my car name. I arrived at the Ford dealership. My gazes are transformed into the concept of a hospital. Customers are concerned, frustrated, happy, confused and many are thankful. Will this environment value customers' feelings no matter what they say or think? The test. The services consultants look like nurses and doctors. The technicians are surgeons, the person over the place is the Chief of Staff. My heartbeat. I don't know what to do. Someone approached me with news we have to keep her. I'm devastated about letting her go. I look back at her wondering will she be safe? Do I need to stay here until all is well? Can I continue to go about my usual daily activities? Life becomes a little bit more struggling. I thought about the first time I saw her. The moment we bond. I believe she choose me and I said she's the one. As time goes tic toc, I'm on a pause. I can't take it anymore, I need to speak to someone else. Help me. The Chief of Staff comfort me with patience, understanding, and hope that her sustenance is worth the wait. The magical calls send me on a spiritual glee. He said, "She's ready." She's is more than beautiful. I thought to myself when I finally picked her up. Lesson learned. Understanding is vital when it comes to waiting. That is the problem no one likes to wait but it is part of life. It has made me better. GOD will use people, places, and things to endow you. I've learned a lot about myself when waiting. It can be good, bad, or ugly. Have a respectable conversation by asking questions, sharing your thoughts and taking what you don't know, and applying it to what you do know. This is a retract from my last review. It's better to say something good. If you don't have anything to say that is adequate. Leave it up to GOD to fix it. Pray about it. Meanwhile, move forward. Not because of me but that one person you meet turns a place into a better world. What a connection. Thank you, Mike McConnaughey, for your kindness and substantial work in restoring Black Diamond.

Read moreHello, we are writing to thank Eric Renteria, as he did an amazing job in keeping me updated on our 2024 brand new Ford Mustang we bought in February in 2024. The Mustang sits in a under ground garage along with our Shleby, and Darkhorse, because we love our FORDS, and I drive a F150. My wife went to a doctor appointment in December at which time the mustang only had 800 miles, nothing wrong with it, then a "woman on her phone" decided to side swipe her, which of course was right at Christmas time. Knowing the time of year I brought it to Planet Ford about the 14th of December. Eric Renteria went above and beyond my expectations as a person in sales, RIGHT AT CHRISTMAS TIME, which made us feel special enough to come back to Planet Ford as a customer. We stopped buying our trucks here due to a past salesman that spoke to me in a fashion that was inappropriate. Eric told me it may be after the 1st of year and I understood, due to vacation and month. He called me about the 17th and told me what the process was going to be, and then he called and said the mustang was in the body shop already. He called about the 17th and said the Mustang's fender is being painted and the car will be buffed and detailed and ready by the19th.I was headed that way and he called told me the quality inspector and himself did not like the buffing on left fender and it's back in the paint booth. For them to inspect and be so honest about the issue was beyond our expectations. It was no issue as we had other vehicles to drive. So by the 4th of January we got the Mustang back. Eric took me to see the final repair and detailing outside and inside and all that was done, Still to this date the mustang is shining bright. Eric was happy, with a great attitude, and showed that cared about what Planet Ford stood for, "QUALITY". A friend came by to see the repair and saw a door handle cover piece was missing. I called the next week and spoke with someone else other than Eric and he was rude,trying to make me feel it's my fault it's missing, it seemed the detail person could have accidentally knocked it off, I said that the door is never opened because the car sits in our garage and rarely moves.Through this whole process of being there he was rude, never looked at me in the face, he was looking for the part and asked what I did with it, blaming us for the cover missing! I got his name and said I will deal with Eric about the door and him. I waited for someone to call me when the part was available. Eric called and said he apologizes for the part missing and I explained the problem I had with the other service tech. I asked for a supervisor name and if there was one available. While I spoke to Tim Oates and explained my issue and how the service tech did, and why we left the first time and why we gave Planet Ford a try again. Tim understood and was a gentleman from start to finish, and stood for what Planet Ford should and did stand for. And the body shop installed the part while I spoke to him. Eric and Tim stood by what Planet Ford is about , CUSTOMER SERVICE, to Tim and Eric and others that were there showed very much gratitude that we came back to the Planet Ford Family. THANK YOU FOR...
Read moreI recently took my vehicle to Planet Ford Dallas for some recall work, a few ongoing issues, and my 30,000-mile service. Having owned my Ford for a while now, I’ve visited multiple Ford dealerships in the past... and to be completely honest, my experiences ranged from disappointing to just okay. Too often, I’ve been told that the issues I described were “unheard of” or “not important.” In fact, I’ve had to personally pull up Ford service bulletins to prove that my concerns were valid and had documented solutions. It’s been frustrating and, at times, made me feel dismissed as a customer.
Well Cameron, the service advisor at Planet Ford Dallas, has changed that! From the very first conversation, Cameron was attentive, patient, and genuinely interested in understanding every concern I had. He didn’t brush anything off, didn’t try to minimize my concerns, and didn’t make me feel like I was inconveniencing him. Instead, he listened carefully, took thorough notes, and reassured me that he would ensure every item was addressed properly.
Throughout the entire process, Cameron kept me updated on the progress of the repairs and services. This level of communication alone was a breath of fresh air.. i've had times where the dealer has asked me to leave the vehicle and they "forgot" to work on the issue and only complete the oil change. Every single issue I brought up (including the ones other dealerships dismissed) were finally acknowledged and resolved. I cannot overstate how validating and refreshing it felt to have my concerns taken seriously and handled with professionalism.
Not only did the team at Planet Ford Dallas address all the problems, but they worked quickly and efficiently. Cameron even arranged a loaner vehicle for me, just in case the service took longer than expected, which removed so much stress from the situation.
This is the third Ford dealership I’ve taken my vehicle to since purchasing it, and without a doubt, it is the best service experience I have ever had. Cameron exemplifies what true customer service should be - knowledgeable, proactive, respectful, and customer focused.
If you’ve ever felt unheard or dismissed when it comes to your vehicle’s concerns, I strongly encourage you to take your car to Planet Ford Dallas and ask for Cameron. He not only earned my trust as a customer but also restored my faith that Ford has advisors that truly care about their customers.
