I live around the corner, and this would be a really convenient location for me, if the staff could at least have manners, if not good customer service skills. Something happens EVERY SINGLE TIME I visit this location. I love Starbucks and usually have a very pleasant experience at other locations, but this one is absolutely terrible. In the most recent situation, I had to wait several minutes as 2nd in line because no body could help the customers waiting while the other guy just stood and waited by the time delayed safe to get change for a $100 bill. I then ordered my drink, which I was very specific- Venti iced caramel macchiato, skinny, with an extra shot. I waited at the pick up counter for 5 minutes, finally the guy tried to hand me a hot drink and tell me, "it's been sitting here waiting for me." I look at it and said that it wasn't mine and told him what I ordered again. He didn't even say anything he just turned and walked away back to the register. A girl started remaking my drink, bit I didn't know because she never acknowledged me. By now in sitting in a chair on the side of the pick up counter, looking at my phone while I wait. She placed my remade drink where I couldn't see it, and never says a word to me while I'm sitting right near here. No one ever apologized! No one ever said thank you! They were just completely rude and did not care about providing good service. Even another time I had to wait in line for several minutes while a cashier talked to a customer she knew in line in front of me well after finishing the transaction, speaking about going to college and how much she hated her job. Read moreToday, I made a mobile order like I always do,but came to this location for the 1st time. The drink was good, but they do not have a good system for announcing mobile orders. I stood in the store, in front of the window for at least 15 minutes waiting for my drink that was there the whole time!
The girl was making drinks at the pick up window and I asked if my order was ready, she looked at the drink she was currently making and said no. Other baristas came to the window many times to drop off drinks but none ever acknowledged me. Finally I notice one drink that had been sitting there a while and I asked if that one was mine, and it was. No one ever checked.
** note that all drinks were place behind plexiglass, so I couldn’t just grab a drink and go. They had to hand it to you.
I tried to leave a review on the Starbucks app but I didn’t see a way how. I went to the website and didn’t see how. So I came to google maps lol
Baristas need to announce mobile orders more than once. They also need to acknowledge those waiting in the pickup line. Other locations do awesome at this, but this one...
Read moreBeen here many times, today was just the worst, short staffed which I understand, but waiting 10 minutes for them to acknowledge me and my order and handing out everyone's order who walked up after me and not even making eye contact, no greeting when arriving, which they always have. I had to ask multiple tines about my order before they would even acknowledge me. Per the app my order was ready 10 minutes before I got there, and as this location is always busy and late on the weekend I gave them extra time. I guess it's time to go back to the Frankford and Tollway store as this one can't serve their mobile customers and store customers. Even called the store and tried to talk to their manage not sure if that's who I dealt with but less than concerned about it, funny thing is she was in the back the entire time and when she finally came to the front as I was getting my order and saw everyone standing waiting she asked the girl why she didn't ask for help.
