Taqueria La Paloma — Restaurant in Dallas

This place is usually pretty good. One of the reasons I used to go here is it was quick, good food, and cheap. Two of the three things don't exist any more. It is not quick, recently I stood in drive through line for 20 mins. And they have gotten EXPRESSIVE. This is not your fancy Mexican restaurant. It is order at the counter, and eat at a table kinda place. You can drive through too. They now charge $9.95 for an Enchilada plate! Their Tacos have also gotten expensive. There are three other Mexican/taco joints near by and all of them are fancy and expensive, so I guess this restaurant feels they have the right to increase the price, but this is not in the same category. People who want to eat at a fancy taco joint are never going to go to this place and people like me who don't want to shell out $5 for a taco, don't want to shell out $10 for an enchilada plate either. If these people don't go down in the prices, I don't see them surviving. The food remains pretty good, but the quantity has gotten smaller. This will not be my 'go to' lunch...

Never again 😖 NUNCA MÁS I used to eat at La Paloma at Coit years ago, I visited this location once few months ago and never comeback, now I remember why… Overpriced and ridiculous portion size. Flavor is not good anymore It doesn’t taste like real Mexican food. You con actually see it, there is no effort making food here. I got torta de milanesa last time. The bread it’s huge, but the meat , avocado and the rest inside are just ridiculously little. Almost nothing. WTH?!?! This is not the first time, come on!! See the pictures by yourself As I said: Never again. If you are looking for good and affordable Mexican food, this is not the place. Don’t Waist your money here.

Está muy caro y el tamaño de las porciones es muy chico. La comida no tiene mucho sabor y no parece comida mexicana (ni latina). No parece que se esfuerzan en preparar esto. Las fotos no mienten. Si buscas un lugar de comida mexicana o latina a buen precio, no vengas a tirar tu...

Worse customer service I’ve ever received. I order the same tacos every time this time they gave me something completely different . So I called 3min from Leaving the drive thru. I told them they got my order wrong. I had not touched the tacos or anything and offered to bring them back just to get them replaced. Someone who claimed to be the owner responded with that it was my fault they got my order wrong not theirs and they will not replace the tacos after I offered to bring it back and they weren’t even touched. She never once apologized for the situation but said I can just pay for another set of tacos that I would have to pay for again if not there was nothing else she could do. I said ok I’ll go ahead and dispute it she said do whatever you want followed by the b word. I’m in shock this is how people handle customers and still work in the fast food industry.
