The Corner Market — Restaurant in Dallas

I usually cater from this place once a quarter for my entire company, however after my horrible experience today I will not. I called to place a to-go order and the person who helped me was extremely rude. She insisted that they no longer had the item I was trying to order. I explained that I was just there the day before and that the item is on their online menu. She just scoffed and said "Well, we DON'T have that today" I asked if I could speak to someone else and she hung up on me.

I called again and a different person answered (she was much more helpful) and got my order placed. When I arrived to pick up my order the same rude person from my first call took my payment and told me "We usually don't take these kind of orders so don't expect that every time" I've never encountered such a rude person here, my experiences have always been great. According to the rude girl there was no manager on duty for me to file a complaint.

The rude girl had nose piercing, dark wavy hair and a striped shirt, she did not want to give me her name. The helpful girl had glasses, and a Dunder Miffler T-Shirt and she was very kind...

Service is terrible. Popped in for a sweet treat and got a peanut butter truffle ball, or so I thought. The label on the display case said it was peanut butter flavored. Got it, paid and took a bite- it was dark chocolate all the way through and not very good. Most importantly, not what I ordered either. So I went to the front and let them know, hey I think you gave me the wrong thing. They were so rude about, blamed me saying I should have noticed like I work there and can tell what flavors are and refused to refund or exchange. I was just blown away by the rudeness. I own a small business myself and cannot recommend supporting a place like this. You don’t have to let customers walk all over you, but you should own up to your own mistakes and talk to people politely. Will never spend my...

This was a unpleasant experience. I waited 25 minutes to be acknowledged at the counter after the line in front of me moved a very rapid pace. They did help the Karen that stepped in front of me waving about her pick up order and someone wanting a refill but ignored me the majority of my visit. I got fruit salad, no one answered my question about the pastries and bagels so I left without, I paid for my fruit and wanted coffee as well but before I could say "with cream please", a to go cup was thrown in front of me and an outstretched hand was in my face for payment. 🤷 I can't imagine why I would come back which is a shame because it is very close to The Beeman where I stay...
