One night a year @Tipsy Elf Dallas lets the kids go wild instead of the 21+ crowd for their Christmas pop-up in the bishop arts district in Dallas Texas. The kids got (Un) tipsy, while taking photos with Santa, dancing, greeting Mrs. Claus, eating cookies, doing crafts. And don’t worry, the parents were able to get slightly* tipsy with an adult beverage 😂 #dallaschristmas #dallas #christmas #bishopartsdistrict #christmasintexas

Im so disappointed in this bar I went there yesterday with my sister and cousin & we took a picture & my cousin left her Chanel bag in the table to take a pic as we go back to our table a red head or orange light skin bartender comes and tell us “is this your bag” & we told her yes we were just taking pics she proceeded to insist it isn’t my cousin bag bc the bar has had plenty of incidents of ppl “robbing “ so now I’m confused bc she’s insinuating that we” stole “that bag yet we had already told her it was my cousins so now I’m just thinking are these ppl seriously asking bc their profiling ? anyways I still keep my cool and tell her “do you not have cameras in here “ she says no reason why I asked it’s bc if you’re not believing that’s her purse they can check there cameras and see clearly we walked in with a Chanel bag and Gucci being Mexican girls this feels like we got super profiled and also the worker looks so unprofessional and drunk , another staff that was a African American girl that tried to lie with her too and tell the manager that we “went off “on her & said “why tf do you care if that’s her bag or not “‘ wich is not my character at all it was giving ghetto all over the way the staff was talking to us and letting these bar tender women talk to us lying about the situation when we always remained calm and were so confuse on why she kept insisting that wasn’t my cousins bag and even tried to tell us well y’all can leave if yall want to as if she’s the owner LOL I go out to have fun and that’s all we were looking for but the same red hair orange head bartender girl got a security that’s short Mexican dude to try to kick us out & he said the manager told him to kick us out yet when we went to the front the manager had no idea we were getting kicked out that’s what makes this whole situation so sketchy and made us feel so unsafe as women & young girls just wanting to have a good time & to think we can’t bring expensive items to this place is so sketchy from their staff to act this way towards us I do not recommend nobody to ever come to this place HORRIBLE SERVICE & ATMOSPHERE & ENERGY from the bar tenders was so awful & made us feel so UNSAFE ! Worst...

Believe the reviews when they say they DISCRIMINATE here!! I came with a large party (mostly black). When we went to the bar there was about 3 bartenders and no line. One bartender went to serve the white people in our group first. The other bartender just stood there and the other cleaned and restocked. At first I thought it was just lack of experience. However, their was a group of white women that arrived to the bar AFTER us, and the bartender that was just standing there went to go serve them first. When we asked about receiving service we were told “they’re just going down the line.” When we finally received service it was with an attitude.

When it came to getting our drinks, we noticed that the group of white women were getting bigger glasses than we were. Our glasses were tiny and we spent $26 on one drink.

We brushed it off and decided to sit and enjoy our drinks. We noticed the manager was eyeing us the whole time. We decided to still dance around to the music and enjoy ourselves. The manager then comes and sits right by us in our booth and starts skipping the music on his phone. The whole night the songs were playing to entirety, but as soon as we started dancing he started skipping the songs. We were able to dance to every song lol. We were a group of professional dancers. At first I thought he was being playful until he said “what song can y’all not dance to,” put on a slow song then walked away.

We took the hint that we weren’t welcomed and decided to take a couple quick pictures and left.

I will say the drinks we got were strong and there were a lot of places to take...

I'm writing this review for the unprofessionalism and discrimination I experienced by a bartender of the name Kristina. I had a brief conversation near the bar she was serving, and imediately this bartender gave me a nasty little attitude. I walked away, without any other word, to the other bar area and minded my business. I ordered a drink, and out of nowhere was then informed I was cut off and would be kicked out. (According to my friend who was with this bartender, Kristina told her "You better get your friend becauae shes about to get kicked out.." This being said while I was peacefully sitting at the other bar). Now, this bartender (Kristina) might say I was "dangerously intoxicated" and "caused a scene", but the two gentlemen who worked behind the bar I was sitting at, can attest that I was of sound mind and agreed this was unwarranted. I know a private business and bartender have the right to refuse service, but only if they see this person is a public threat or visibly intoxicated. I was neither. I do also know, there are discrimination laws and one cannot be refused service due to that fact. The manager was of no help, gave me no reason, and couldn't care less. What, pray tell, other reason could I have not been served other than that of discrimination by said bartender, Kristina? I didn't care of being cut off, I was perfectly fine, what I do care about is the unrighteous reason and how the bartender was able to do so on absolutely no grounds. Tipsy Elf, do better. Vet your bartenders not just on their bartending skills, but in their biases. This is absolutely...
