Winetastic is an absolute gem! As a first-time wine lover, I was a bit nervous, but the experience exceeded all my expectations. The $37 for 5 different 2oz wine tastings was an incredible deal, and it included a delightful mix of red, white, and even a few bubblies—perfect for sampling a variety.
Natalie, who welcomed us with warmth and enthusiasm, truly made this experience special. She was so knowledgeable about the wines and made sure to explain the nuances of each selection in a way that was accessible and engaging. I never once felt out of place, and she even piqued my interest in joining their wine club, which offers some fantastic benefits.
The ambiance at Winetastic really set the tone for the entire experience. The lighting was soft and inviting, creating a cozy yet elegant atmosphere that made it the perfect spot for relaxing and savoring wine. It was a truly immersive experience that made me feel like I was part of something special.
Winetastic offers a range of tastings and events that cater to both seasoned wine connoisseurs and newcomers like me. I had tons of questions, and Natalie was patient and thorough in answering each one, making me feel completely at ease.
This wasn’t just a tasting; it was an experience! I can’t wait to return and explore more of what Winetastic has to offer. Whether you're a wine expert or a beginner, this place is definitely...
Read moreThe owner, Terri Burney was extremely rude! I didn’t know she was the owner at the time nor did I know she was a sommelier. I walked in and she asked was I going to have a glass of wine. No hello, or welcome. I was waiting on 2 friends to come which I told her. She seemed irritated they weren’t there yet and kept asking were they coming. The place was literally empty so I didn’t understand the rush. My one friend came and she asked again about the other. We stated the other was in traffic. By now she was talking to another customer who stated there shouldnt be much traffic because it’s a holiday. ( it was Juneteenth). Terri said it’s not a holiday! …. Well I guess it is. I’m black and both my friends are white. We said it is absolutely a holiday. I should have left then but we stayed. I ordered a flight. She seemed bothered that she had to keep pouring it. I asked about the taste of a few wines and she gave no explanation just pointed to the menu and said it’s that one. NEVER will we ever come back to this place. And she would not be in business. Do...
Read moreWe got to winetastic and stood on the verandah for a moment considering the space. Before we could even take a seat a woman rushes out asking us loudly if we need a glass of wine. Although she certainly didn’t identify herself as a host of winetastic - not by offering a menu, not by offering to select a table, or any other indicator that she would have responded to our business - she simply demanded if we wanted a glass of wine. When we answered “yes” she made no move, and when I realized the host was entirely non receptive to my interest in treating my friends to a reputedly lovely wine experience, I asked a easy-no question and we departed. She chased us away like we were stray cats or vagabonds, and if she has approached other groups in the same manner I’m simply appalled she has any business at all. I wish I could report on the fare she was offering, but unfortunately I was denied...
