Where do I begin⦠it was a Sunday night and after a busy day we decided to go get some dessert. After a mindless scroll on reels this placed popped up and I thought āman this sounds bangingā so we all threw on warm layers and made the trek across town to this location.
The whole way there I was salivating at the thought of toasted donuts stuffed with ice cream. Itās literally every fat boys dream.
We get to the location and thereās about 10 people in front of us, not too crazy for a Sunday night.
As we patiently wait in line we look over the menu and make our decisions.
This is where the fun startsā¦
After getting through the initial excitement I start noticing the business itself and what a messā¦
As someone who is business savvy this location reeks of āfranchise opportunity we can just throw money atā.
The showcase was almost empty. It had 3 donuts in it. The counters had storage bins and messy utensils all over it and overall just killed the vibe.
From what I can assume the 3 people working tonight are all family⦠mom, dad, and daughter.
Anywho there was a point that one dropped a milkshake cup on the floor, then the other stepped on it and finally the third picked it up and put it on the counter.
At this point I was appalledā¦
We ended up walking out while awaiting our turn to order⦠(we made it to the register) but then were made to wait even longer to place our order.
From what I can tell the location lacks leadership and is probably not following the guidelines set by such a company.
Itās a real shame, and I doubt we will return.
Unfortunately this is the reality of franchising out your business model.
Atmosphere was mid at best hence the two stars.
Food we didnāt get to try- so they got a mid score
Service was not existent. Even after waiting through line the cashier (mom) had to go help make orders leaving us waiting even longer than the line wait. Also they were making the donuts per order so they didnāt have the donuts available to...
Read moreI guess my fiancé and I just had a bad experience. My fiancé and I frequently use an app called TooGoodToGo (great app, definitely recommend) and I had seen that Yonutz was on it. I had heard about Yonutz via social media and had been waiting for a couple years for them to open a Texas location close to me. So I was ecstatic to try this place. We woke up super early and drove from Denton to Dallas (which is hard because I'm pregnant). We get to Yonutz and the decor is really promising, however we are not greeted at all, in fact the employees just stared at us through the kitchen window. They then continued to just stare at us, and when my fiancé was asking questions they were super rude and just threw the menu at us, (they genuinely just tossed the menu at us, not even making eye contact). In addition to picking up our order I wanted to try the Bueno specialty donut and the Banana Pudding shake. I was super excited but was ultimately SUPER disappointed. First off it was super overpriced and I'm pretty sure the specialty donut was raw, it was tasteless and ultimately underwhelming. The donut and ice cream (which is just blue bell) had no taste and so the only thing you could taste was the insane amount of toppings which all just fell off. The shake was good but ended up making me throw up in the car (I think it was the shake + raw donut) so that was fun. In regards to the donuts we got from TooGoodToGo were so tasteless and sad. The donuts were whole, so it was like it was supposed to have filling but there was nothing. So it was a lot of bland tasteless donut and some icing and a little bit of toppings. There was one donut, I believe it was supposed to be PB&J, that had filling. I took one bite and spit it up, it was awful. Overall this place has a lot of potential and maybe if it was in a better location with better employees my experience would have been different. Really sad about the experience...
Ā Ā Ā Read more1st time trying them. Hubby saw a tik tok or video about it. And since we were visiting family from Dallas we when ahead and go with them to try it out. It does get extremely busy and packed. But super fast service. Place is small they should really think about upgrading specially with how busy they get and not enough tables to sit. We took 3 small tables out of 5. And the 2 big tables were occupied. 7 tables in total. It was busy table were to close to the line upu order. So it can get a bit hectic around there. When we first walked in there was one table of 4 available. We were 8 of us. Once we order, we notice two table leaving so we ran to get them. But reason why we had 3 tables was because the tables are next to the wall. We could of fit if we were able to move the table out of the wall. But once again there's no space. Because we would of block the order line. Overall milkshake were delicious. We really loved the kinder milkshake. And absolutely like the smash donut, though Alot of ice cream was a bit overwhelming. But donut still delicious! Highly recommended....
