The Hideaway — Restaurant in Dallas

Have come here to watch two bills games, most recently the AFC championship. For bills games this place has a great atmosphere. That’s about where the good things end.

The food here is consistently terrible. All the food comes out cold and the waiters are severely understaffed leading to a terrible experience for customers.

Ordered two entrees with 10min left in the 3rd quarter of the game. I kid you not food came out once half the bar had left and the game was over. That was after AFTER reminding our waitress 3-4 times. Draft Beers come out luke warm and it’s just not worth drinking. The wings are near flavorless and I’m almost certain they are watering down the ranch in the back or using a ranch seasoning mix which is watery. I had a side of fries which were also flavorless, had no seasoning, and the ketchup you guessed it was also likely watered down although not as bad as the ranch.

Overall the food here has alot to be desired. The soft drinks are also flat and watered down. They’re likely trying to conserve drink syrup. I get this is a cheap place but I can’t see why anyone would willingly eat here on a regular basis or outside of a big bills game.

I’ve worked with over 40 restaurants and have known every type of restaurant owner. This bar is a “nickel and dime” bar that’s going to nickel and dime you.

credit card surcharge (illegal btw as I have also sold these POS systems) if you’re going to reverse processing fees or fees in general you need to notify consumers ahead of time watery sauces and condiments no prices on anything bland low quality food likely syrup conserving for soft drinks

All of these validate to me that this is a penny pinching business. I’d rather pay more money to get quality food and service than receive what I got the two times I have been here.

I’ve worked as a restaurant consultant and want to see this place succeed cause Bills Mafia. My advice is to get rid of waiters and waitresses taking orders during big games or busy days (if you’re busy outside of bills games) and upgrade your POS to Toast, Owner, or Chownow. With new POS customers will be able to order online and tell you what table they’re at so you can just have service runners taking food out so it’s actually hot when it arrives instead of sitting out there. Increase prices label your menus and get quality ingredients.

It’s been 3 hours since I left this bar and my body feels terrible after eating here. I am doing my best to convince my friends to find another bills bar cause I can’t deal with this low quality disgusting food again.

Went to this place with a few friends for my best-friend’s birthday. Security did nothing but stand there and watch as a girl and her belligerently drunk friend antagonized us and instigated an altercation. One of the girls became aggressive towards us after one of us told her friend (who should have been kicked out due to her extreme level of intoxication) that she was bumping into her and it was bothering her. My other friend was trying to get the girl to calm down and the girl proceeded to assault her. The girl punched her and threw a glass bottle at her face. Security did nothing to help us the entire time after watching this go on. The altercation went on long enough for her friend to approach me and assault me twice as well as steal my purse. Security was lazy the entire night. They did not attempt to remove the girl and her friends from the building or call the police. When I tried asking for help, they were extremely rude and dismissive. I have never been to a place where the security was this useless. If I could give this place 0...

I Love this place. Never have I been treated in such a way simply because the young black female chose to wait on her friends and give them four shots rather than give me my two beers and this is after I've been sitting there waiting and they came up behind me and said hey ,I've did not have a problem all night long getting my beers, my shots or even when I was sitting at the table with a young guy waiting on us. I absolutely love this place until tonight and when I walked away from her went to the other side of the bar she came over saying what can I get for you. I said nothing. I don't want any from you. She starts screaming. He needs to go. He needs to go and the big tall black security guard saying you need to go. I said I didn't do anything.
