I went in today just wanting to get some fried rice. I sat in the corner with a friend. Yes, I do realize that we sat in the corner but this is no excuse for what happened. The waiter came up and "took" our drink order, but I doubt that he was actually paying any attention. Another person came in after us and got his drink and an appetizer BEFORE we even got our order taken. We waited a few more minutes and a party of 11 came it, which at that point we realized that nothing was going to happen. I looked at the waiter many times like, "hey, you haven't took our order yet". Is it that hard to tell when someone is getting tired of waiting? Is it not possible to see that you HAVEN'T taken someone's order yet? We ended up just leaving since apparently they don't care about customers here.
I have been here before and had good experiences, but this, combined with the fact that the new menus have little to no veggie options has killed it.
So, if you are a looking for a place to go for lunch, I would...
Read moreI used to come here all of the time because the pho and spring rolls were the best I’ve had in the Dallas Metroplex and I’ve tried many places, the texture and flavor of the spring rolls and pho was outstanding when it was 45 mint. About two weeks ago I love pho took over and I am extremely disappointed. I gave them two tries. The first night I ordered spring rolls and the rice paper was so hard and chewy not amazing like before previous management and there was lettuce in the roll instead of fresh basil and herbs like how it should be. The second time I was going to give the pho one chance and the broth tasted like salty water, absolutely no flavor. Both 2 times I stepped into the restaurant since it’s two week reopening there was not one customer there, but all of the employees sitting at a table eating dinner. So disappointed 45 mint is gone. Won’t be back ever. Every review before mine is pertaining to 45 mint they just changed the name on google since...
Read moreOrdered from this place for the first time on a Saturday afternoon around 1 PM. Order delivery via Uber eats food arrived in standard time.
Spring rolls - Shrimp: Super tiny. The size of regular egg rolls; width of a quarter (see photo). Mostly bean spouts. Pathetic.
Dumplings - Order only comes with six dumplings & a small side of vegetables. Inside is 1/3 empty (see photo).
Vermicelli pork & eggroll bun - Vietnamese fish sauce is super sweet; more like sugar water. Egg rolls have decent flavor. Meat is mostly just salty - not much flavor.
Combo pho - Okay. Meatball was overcooked & extremely dry - even in soul. Tendon was good. Beef filet was gamey for some reason. Tripe was super chewy. WAY too much onion - I got rid of half & it was still too much onion. Broth didn’t have much flavor - mostly just salty.
Overall, things were below average. I would not recommend & I would...
