You want to avoid this place like the plague. GO TO PLANO, its close enough to drive the extra few minutes. The staff is incredibly rude and miserable. Especially the older lady named, Lisa, who's worked there for years. She will do everything in her power to make sure you have the worst possible experience. I have to buy stuff here for work all of the time and I dread it... I don't understand how you can call yourself a Christian establishment with such hateful, miserable people running the place. I purchased over 3k worth of items including some custom framing, wrote a check and it wouldn't clear, I'm on the phone with my bank trying to figure out what's happening and because I have the money in my account, yet their system reads the check once then they refuse to try again. I have my stuff set to the side and plan to drive down the road to my bank to pull out the cash since it wont clear and, of course, there's 20 people in line behind me because its 1952 in there and 1 line is open with a million people standing around... I step outside and my banker calls back saying she's transferred the money to my personal account so I don't have to leave, as I walk back in the lady is broadcasting, "we apologize for the woman who tried to write a bad check and made everyone wait" Are you kidding me?! Is that really necessary?! I haven't been out of the building for 2 minutes and you are actually bad mouthing a customer to other customers?! I was horribly embarrassed and wish I never had to step foot back in this establishment. I make it a point to drive to Plano now where the staff is actually happy to be there and help you. I don't see how this location...
Read moreMost of their employees are rude. They seem unbothered by the fact that they are blatantly being rude and obnoxious. But today was the final straw. I went to the store looking for letters to iron onto a gift. The lady I came into contact with in the fabric center (an older Latina lady), quickly took me to the aisle where they were located. I found what I needed, checked out their clearance section and went to the front. When I made it (there's 4 females standing at registers, all with their heads down to avoid you coming to their line), it was a wait w/ just one person ahead of me. I get to the register and Deborah (older, Black female) sees me handing over the letters I needed to purchase and a pair of pants. "Did you count em or what?" was what she nastily spewed in my direction. I stated that I had not. "Oh well I guess I can!" Then she proceeds to count each letter out, check each price (they're literally are all the same style and type of letters), screams out my total, takes forever bagging everything up and if not to express her rudeness any better. Lays my change on the counter, then my receipt and slams close her register drawer. This was today 3/30/31 around 4:55-5:00pm. I frequent this store location but I will drive to ANY other location. She's making a bad name not only for herself but definitely for the AA community (which I am apart of) but most definitely for Hobby Lobby's franchise. Don't bother going. 90% of the staff are rude or unintelligent in behavior, tone, and...
Read moreI want to start this by saying that Hobby Lobby is my FAVORITE store. I spend many hours and money there. I use to love this location. My last visit there changed that. I will never shop at this hobby lobby again. The lady who checked me out was horrible! Her name was Linda. The lady in front of me in line asked Linda where an item was, and Linda pointed across the store and said, "right there." The customer said "where?". Linda said "right where I am pointing!". The customer responded "I understand you are pointing, but I don't see it." Linda respond with "Maybe you need your eyes checked because it's RIGHT THERE." The customer was so upset! She looked like she was going to cry and ran out of the store. I decided to try and kill this lady with kindness, but it didn't work! She begins checking me out. One item I thought was 50% off but she didn't ring it up that way. I asked about it. She picks up the weeks flyer and THROWS it at me. She then says "learn to read because it's no where on this flyer. SHOW me where it is on this flyer." I just said "sorry I guess I was confused?" But I was shocked. Then when it was time for me to leave, one of my items hadn't been bagged. I went to grab it and she snatches it and says, "I'll get to that in a minute. Have some patience." I was so appalled. This lady is working at a Christian store and treating people like crap! I will not shop at a store that supports people like her. You won't see me back at this location until this...
